Trailing by 25.6 points just five days ago, the tenacious Ice Hogs continue to pound away at the Wild Ducks lead, a 17.2 point Thursday drawing the never-say-die squad to within 8.7 points of first place.

After a horrible, league-worst Week 21, the Ice Hogs are near the top of Week 22, the elastic squad now back in the hunt of the FHL Cup. The rebounding Hogs are also skating toward another victory, leading the playing-well Silicon Valley Slashers by 16.8 points.

Wild Ducks: 33.8
Central Red Army: 32.0
Once on cruise control, the Wild Ducks are scrambling to locate their gas pedal, the thought-to-be-dead Ice Hogs now banging on the Ducks first place door. Speaking of banging, the Central Red Army are banging on GM Collard's H2H door, the once-trailing-by-a-lot Army now just 1.8 points back.

Misconducts: 30.8
Between the Pipes: 50.6­
After a slow start the Misconducts bus is finally up to speed, another solid outing lifting GM Smalley's squad past the Bluliners and into fourth place. The Misconducts are also continuing to chip away at Between the Pipes once monstrous lead, the cooling Pipes now just 19.8 points in front.

Polar Bears: 30.1
The Bluliners won't be entering next week's playoffs with a whole lot of confidence, the misfiring team now 52.3 points in back of the front-running Wild Ducks; 20.1 points behind the money. Meanwhile, the Polar Bears are basking in the warmth of a 10.5 point lead, the ninth place team gunning for just their seventh win of the season.

SC Cobras: 10.8
Ice Cats: 24.7­
With the H2H playoffs just four days away, the playoff bound SC Cobras are struggling to find their game. After four days the Cobras have netted a league-worst 10.8 points, the number placing the snakes 13.9 points behind the the also playoff bound Ice Cats.

Badger Bob: 18.8
Boulder Flyers: 33.3
With nothing to play for Badger Bob is playing like a team with nothing to play for, a paltry 18.8 points leaving the eighth place squad 14.5 points behind the Boulder Flyers - the worst H2H team in the land.
