Close yesterday. Not so close today. Baba Booey received 3.0 of his 6.0 points from a Semyon Varlamov win, but their opponent was suffocating - the Cherry Pickers and their week-best score (think $10.00) now leading this Canuck division duel by a firm 16.2 points.

Misconducts: 19.0­
It was a relatively quiet night for both teams as the Misconducts and Central Red Army combined for just 9.0 points. The Misconducts got 5.0 of those points, GM Smalley’s squad scooting 1.0 point closer to their still-leading-by-a-lot opponent.

Boulder Flyers: 19.7
Lumberjacks: 32.9
The bobbing-when-they-should-be-weaving Boulder Flyers are struggling to find points, the team collecting just 4.0 on Day 4. The Lumberjacks however weren’t much better, a forgettable 2.0 point showing leaving GM Recoskie 13.2 points in front.

Wild Ducks: 31.8
SC Cobras: 23.3­
While being carted to the Week 2 Morgue, the SC Cobras lifted their head from the slab - the thought-to-be-dead team erupting (all verbs are relative) for 9.0 points, the still-breathing Cobras moving to within 8.5 points of a much-needed come-from-behind win.

Ice Hogs: 23.9
Polar Bears: 24.7
Mathew Barzal (1g, 2a) powered the Polar Bears to a 10.7 point showing. The Ice Hogs countered with 8.1. When the ice spray settled the Bears had slipped past the Hogs, GM Elya’s squad leading by 0.8 points with three days remaining in the week.

Rocky Rocks: 15.8
Bluliners: 30.3­
The Bluliners were 0.0 for two players on Thursday but the Rocks couldn’t take advantage of their opponent's light schedule - the second year franchise carding just 3.0 - the Rocks now trailing by 14.5 ahead of a relatively heavy eight-game Friday.
