WEEK 13 (thru Thursday) SXSMcsC
Roope Hintz took plenty of trips down the aisle on Thursday, the undrafted 24-year-old collecting one goal, three assists and 8.0 points; his surging team and their league-best 20.8 points moving back into the money, the Wild Ducks now seated in 3rd place overall, just 27.3 points in back of the stalled Cherry Pickers.

Wild Ducks: 33.8
Misconducts: 36.1

At the start of play, GM Smalley was wondering where he was going to place his Easy Win Trophy. At the conclusion of play - after his Misconducts team was ambushed by the Wild Ducks - GM Smalley is wondering “What the hell happened?!” this marquee Yankee division collison now tight, the Misconducts once-huge advantage reduced to 2.3 points.

Rocky Rocks: 38.8
Cherry Pickers: 15.5

Seemingly on the fast track to what would be their first FHL Cup championship, the fishtailing Cherry Pickers have swerved off of the road, another dismal outing leaving the Pickers with the worst score of the week. You’ll get no complaints from GM Rocky - only a sly smile - his roaring Rocky Rocks team now leading this unexpectedly lopsided Canuck division rout by 23.3 points.

Polar Bears: 18.9
Central Red Army: 32.6

The Polar Bears were hoping to get back into this match on Thursday, instead a dismal 2.0 points dropped the suddenly-struggling Bears a full 13.7 points in back of the fast-marching Central Red Army, GM Buker feeling good about his chances as he skates into a relatively heavy 7-game Friday.

Ice Hogs: 33.8
SC Cobras: 49.8

The Ice Hogs received strong performances from their Twin Towers, Connor Hellebuyck and Andrei Vasilevskiy combining for 6.8 of their teams 10.8 points. Despite the solid outing the Hogs weren’t able to gain much ground on their week-best opponent, the SC Cobras (7.0 points) still leading by a lot with only three days remaining in the week.

Lumberjacks: 21.2
Bluliners: 28.1

An upset appears to be brewing as the underdog 9th place Bluliners again gained ground on the favored 2nd place Lumberjacks, Yanni Gourde (4a) collecting 7.0 of his teams 12.0 points, the Bluliners now leading the hacking Jacks by 6.9 points.

Boulder Flyers: 19.0
Baba Booey: 41.8

With 10 players dressed on Friday, the Boulder Flyers were hoping for a much-needed influx of points. When the ice spray settled the Flyers were holding 3.0 points and a short straw, the league’s worst team now trailing Baba Booey by 22.8 points; the Twinkie-fueled Fat Lady placed on high alert.
