It was a rare FHL night for GM Hamilton's team; a night when everything seemed to go right (other than Mike Smith blowing out his knee). With defenseman Erik Karlsson leading the charge (1g, 2a) the first place Bluliners vaulted 39.9 in front of the Boulder Flyers; a lead that could be classified "insurmountable" with only 2.5 weeks remaining in the season.

Paul Morgan didn't have time to speak to FHL reporters following his team's dismal performance. The Boulder Flyer GM was busy licking his "Black Monday" wounds. When pressed for a comment, Morgan lashed out, "hey give me a break, at least I'm still beating the Misconducts!"

Wild Ducks: 31.0
The Wild Ducks couldn't match the Bluliners numbers but they potted a healthy 10.0 of their own, increasing their lead in this Week 22 bout. The third place and once hopeful Polar Bears (now 45.4 behind the Bluliners) are awash with grief, their first FHL Cup now seemingly out of reach.
