Playing the absolute worst team in the NHL, the “Storm Bruin” line of Marchand, Bergeron and Pastrnak were hoping to fortify both their H2H lead and their lead in the overall standings. Instead, the troubled trio skated away with just 1.0 point (Pastrnak assist), the Vegas Vipers - and the rest of the league - collectively breathing a sigh of relief.

Vegas Vipers: 19.3­
Trailing by 19.0 points, the odds of the Vegas Vipers winning this match are long, however GM Miller still has a puncher’s chance after surviving Round 5 of this scheduled 7-round bout, the Vipers still swinging as they skate into a dense 11-game Saturday.

Rocky Rocks: 16.0
Boulder Flyers: 32.8­
Just 0.6 points from the basement door on October 25th, the Boulder Flyers have quietly stepped up their game, another league-best performance lifting the team into 7th place in the overall standings, the Flyers now leading their weak-kneed opponent by 16.8.

Cherry Pickers: 31.6
Ice Hogs: 45.2
The Cherry Pickers are playing well but they’re unfortunately paired with the thus-far best team of Week 6, another 6.0 points on Friday providing GM Henry and his hauling Hogs with a stiff 13.6 point lead.

Central Red Army: 39.5
Bluliners: 20.2
With most focused on Badger Bob and the Wild Ducks in the battle for 1st place, the Central Red Army have covertly closed the gap, the Army and their 5.0 point Friday now just 22.5 points from the top. The Army can also boast of a huge H2H lead, their advantage over the bumbling Bluliners currently 19.3 points.

Polar Bears: 25.0
Wild Ducks: 22.0­
With Week 6 galloping toward the homestretch, the Polar Bears are still jockeying toward a huge upset win, a good-enough 5.0 point Day 5 placing the Bears 3.0 points in front of the sitting Ducks.

Misconducts: 27.2
SC Cobras: 27.2­
This pivotal Domi division couldn’t be any closer, literally, the SC Cobras drawing dead-even by netting 2.0 points on Friday, the Misconducts and Cobras knotted at 27.2 with only Saturday and Sunday remaining in the week.
