Friday evening the Fat Lady packed her suitcase with a change of clothes, a toothbrush and 20 boxes of Red Baron frozen pizza, the portly princess heading to Chesterfield Township to belt out a tune for GM Hamilton and his blue Bluliners, the Vegas Vipers now leading by 33.1 points.

Boulder Flyers: 39.0­
Don’t put the kids to bed just yet as the Boulder Flyers are making a match of this projected-to-be mismatch, a Connor Hellebuyck-infused (51 save win) Friday placing the Boulder Flyers just 2.0 points behind the heavily-favored and still undefeated Wild Ducks.

Badger Bob: 32.9
Misconducts: 30.8­
The marquee match of the week is living up to its lofty expectations - both teams netting similar numbers on Friday; Badger Bob, 4-0, leading the Misconducts, 4-0, by 2.1 points heading into a monster, match-defining 14-game Saturday.

Cherry Pickers: 26.1
It’s not a good time to be a fan of the Polar Bears as the team is firmly planted in last place, GM Elya’s misfiring squad now 17.9 points in rear of the 11th place team. The Cherry Pickers don’t seem to be bothered by the Bears many troubles, the Pickers pointed in the direction of a win as they now lead by 9.9.

Ice Hogs: 40.6
SC Cobras: 22.0­
The Ice Hogs are on the fast track to their 2nd win of the season, a stiff 13.9 point Friday placing the Hogs a full 18.6 points in front of the SC Cobras with just the weekend remaining in the week.
