WEEK 14 (thru Thursday) 4qpOoVu
Thought to be heading south for the winter, the SC Cobras abruptly reversed course on Thursday, a league-best 24.4 points moving the team from 8th place to 4th place in the overall standings - defenseman Shea Theodore spearheading the effort with a goal, two assists and 9.0 points - the Cobras seated just 51.0 points from what would be their first FHL Cup championship.

SC Cobras: 36.9
Cherry Pickers: 28.2

Trailing by 5.8 points at the start of play, the SC Cobras now lead by 8.7 - the Cherry Pickers (9.9 points) unable to keep pace with their in-form opponent; the Pick hoping for better as they lace their skates in preparation for a beefy eight-game Friday.

Lumberjacks: 43.6
Bluliners: 33.6

The Bluliners carded 8.0 points but once again lost ground to their opponent, the Lumberjacks and their 11.0 point effort now leading this non-divisional duel by 10.0. Despite their solid performance, the Lumberjacks were rudely returned to the basement, the team once again seated in 12th place overall.

Wild Ducks: 29.8
Baba Booey: 52.8

The Wild Ducks were hoping to cut into their healthy deficit but a 12.0 point outing left them in a slightly deeper hole, the Booeys (12.3 points) now leading by 23.0 with only Friday and the weekend remaining to be played.

Rocky Rocks: 35.0
Misconducts: 38.2

Rocky Rocks received 9.0 points from defenseman John Klingberg. The Misconducts countered with defenseman Rasmus Dahlin (9.0 points) and then some; the Misconducts and their strong 22.0 point effort now leading the Rocks by 3.2.

Ice Hogs: 27.6
Central Red Army: 22.2

The Ice Hogs no longer possess the lowest score of the week, that distinction was squashed by a 20.6 point Thursday; Sergei Bobrovsky (40 save, 8.0 point shutout) helping to provide the back-on-track Hogs with a 5.4 point lead.

Boulder Flyers: 27.4
Polar Bears: 21.0

The Polar Bears posted the worst score in Week 13. The team is treading familiar ground in Week 14, the lowest “thru Thursday” score leaving the slumping squad 6.4 points in back of the Boulder Flyers; the Bears banking on Connor McDavid - preferably before the end of the week - remembering that he’s good.
