PostSubject: WEEK 16 (thru Thursday)   Fri Feb 12, 2016 1:16 pm

The Boulder Flyers were the beneficiary of not one, but two hat tricks on Thursday; Jordan Eberle (3g, 1a) and Alexander Ovechkin (3g) guiding GM Morganís squad to 9th place in the overall standings; just 45.0 points shy of the money (3rd place).

Boulder Flyers: 105.2
Ice Cats: 72.6

The Boulder Flyers continue to rock Week 16, another double-digit performance (29.0 points) moving GM Morganís streaking squad further north in the standings. The avalanche of points also neutered any chance the Ice Cats had of winning this H2H match, GM Cutshallís kittens on the verge of being slapped with their 6th loss of the season.

Bluliners: 71.0
Ice Hogs: 105.4

Connor McDavid was Lemieux-like on Thursday, the rookie center collecting 13.0 (2g, 3a) of his teamís 15.0 points. Despite the influx of points, the Ice Hogs remain in 6th place place in the overall standings, now 82.6 behind the first place Polar Bears. With regard to this H2H mismatch, itís a two Fat Lady affair, GM Henryís productive pigs leading the blue Bluliners by 34.4 points.

SC Cobras: 59.5
Polar Bears: 109.8

Lost in the hullabaloo of hat tricks and the Edmonton Oilers was the play of the Polar Bears. GM Elya's squad quietly potted 22.4 on Thursday, increasing their lead in the Cup-chase standings to 46.0 points. GM Elya is also coasting to his league-best 12th win of the season, his Bears currently shellacking the out-gunned SC Cobras.

Badger Bob: 60.8
Misconducts: 60.4

While the Polar Bears are comfortably in front overall, their lead is only a single game in the H2H standings. With the Bears winning, Badger Bob needs a victory to stay one game back. A 16.0 point Thursday has provided the Bobs with that chance as GM Chester's squad now lead the puttering Misconducts by 0.4 with one day remaining in the week.

Between the Pipes: 70.2
Silicon Valley Slashers: 60.3

The Silicon Valley Slashers bagged 10.0 points on Thursday; Between the Pipes collected 11.0. As a result very little has changed, GM Millers 8th place team now leading GM Murphy's 5th place team by 9.9 with only a seven-game Friday left to be played.

Central Red Army: 55.8
Wild Ducks: 87.0

The Wild Ducks netted 9.4 on Thursday, increasing their lead over the Central Red Army to 31.2. While the number will provide GM Collard with his 5th win of the season ($10.00) the Duck boss isn't smiling, his team still lodged in 11th place overall, now 142.8 points back. Central Red Army meanwhile slipped closer to the double-century PB mark, GM Buker's team now 199.1 points behind the first place Polar Bears.
