WEEK 7 (thru Saturday) EbLDw96
Trailing by 24.2 points and thought to be out of the chase for a Week 7 win, the previously lumbering Lumberjacks exploded for 25.4 points - defenseman Kris Letang leading the Saturday night barrage with two goals, an assist and 12.0 points, the joltin’ Jacks drawing to within 1.8 points of the battered Boulder Flyers.

Lumberjacks: 44.9
Boulder Flyers: 46.7

Anticipating his first win of the season, GM Morgan already scheduled a Monday afternoon celebratory parade. Now GM Morgan is wondering, “what the hell am I going to do with 68,000 pounds of confetti?” Outscored 24.2 to 3.0 on Saturday, the flailing Flyers are one day removed from what would be a previously unthinkable, gut-wrenching defeat.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Lumberjacks: 3 players; Boulder Flyers: 5 players)
Lumberjacks: Sidney Crosby, Kris Letang, Jack Roslovic
Boulder Flyers: Patrik Laine, Joel Farabee, Victor Olofsson, Roman Josi, Mackenzie Blackwood*
*At press time, start not confirmed.

Cherry Pickers: 32.0
Baba Booey: 31.8

GM Carling awoke to a bit of bad news, his Baba Booey team had surrendered the lead. Soon after, the first-year GM was treated to some good news - the Booey’s dressing as many as eight players on the final day of the week. The Cherry Pickers will be bringing only two players to Sunday; the outgunned pair given the daunting task of protecting a perfect record and a perilously thin 0.2 point lead.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Cherry Pickers: 2 players; Baba Booey: 8 players)
Cherry Pickers: Nicklas Backstrom, Tuukka Rask
Baba Booey: David Pastrnak, Dominik Kubalik, Jack Eichel, Eric Staal, Adam Fox, Rasmus Dahlin, Ilya Samsonov*, Semyon Varlamov*
*At press time, start not confirmed.

SC Cobras: 29.4
Wild Ducks: 42.1

The SC Cobras began play with the lowest score of the week. They’re still wearing that label but a 14.0 point outburst has placed GM Murphy within range of a previously unthinkable come-from-behind win, the Cobras with a puncher’s chance as they now trail the Saturday-quiet Wild Ducks by only 12.7 points.
LAST DAY LINEUP (SC Cobras: 5 players; Wild Ducks: 3 players)
SC Cobras: Mika Zibanejad, Brad Marchand, Sam Reinhart, Ivan Provorov, Igor Shesterkin*
Wild Ducks: Taylor Hall, Alexander Ovechkin, T.J. Oshie
*At press time, start not confirmed.

Central Red Army: 40.3
Misconducts: 29.9

A tight, back-and-forth match is now a lopsided affair, the Central Red Army laying waste to the Misconducts on Saturday - outscoring their opponent 13.0 to 4.0. Despite having their ass handed to them, the Misconducts remain optimistic - GM Smalley hoping his Sunday-three can overcome a sizeable 10.4 point deficit.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Central Red Army: 4 players; Misconducts: 3 players)
Central Red Army: Kevin Hayes, John Carlson, Charlie McAvoy, Pekka Rinne*
Misconducts: Jake Guentzel, Jakub Vrana, Anders Lee
*At press time, start not confirmed.

Polar Bears: 37.3
Ice Hogs: 49.2

There were a lot of points to be had on Saturday as both the Ice Hogs and Polar Bears played well - the Ice Hogs netting 15.0 while the Polar Bears carded 12.8. All told, the Hogs cushion was stuffed with a few more points, GM Henry’s squad now leading this Yankee division duel by 11.9.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Polar Bears: 3 players; Ice Hogs: 4 players)
Polar Bears: Mathew Barzal, Jordan Eberle, Kevin Lankinen*
Ice Hogs: Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Sean Couturier, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Alex DeBrincat
*At press time, start not confirmed.

Rocky Rocks: 50.0
Bluliners: 49.9

Other than two teams being deadlocked, they don’t make ‘em any closer than this - Rocky Rocks using a stiff 18.5 point Saturday to move 0.1 points in front of the Bluliners; the Bluliners surrendering the lead despite posting a respectable 13.1 points (and in the process, commandeering 2nd place in the overall standings).
LAST DAY LINEUP (Rocky Rocks: 5 players; Bluliners: 3 players)
Rocky Rocks: Cam Atkinson, Patrice Bergeron, Bryan Rust, Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Pulock
Bluliners: Patrick Kane, Filip Forsberg, Matt Duchene
