WEEK 15 (thru Thursday) OPxRZeR
Undrafted - and virtually unknown at the start of the season - Ice Hogs defender Tony DeAngelo tied the 19 year-old FHL record for most points scored in a game by a defenseman, the Week 5 waiver wire find amassing three goals, two assists and 21.0 points, the hauling Hogs roaring to within 42.9 points of first place.

Ice Hogs: 49.1
Wild Ducks: 34.5

Yesterday the Wild Ducks led the entire FHL by 49.8 points. Today no less than three teams are within 49.3, a below average Thursday putting a dent in the Ducks and their 2019-20 FHL Cup chances. A depression much deeper than a dent was put in their Week 15 H2H win chances, the Ice Hogs and their league-best 32.0 point haul now leading this previously-close contest by 14.6.

Boulder Flyers: 40.5
SC Cobras: 34.9

For the first time since 2013 a goaltender scored a goal, Pekka Rinne tweaking the twine with a 200 foot wrister. Rinne’s 5.0 point goal and 29 save win paced the SC Cobras strong 17.9 point showing, GM Murphy and his snakes drawing to within 5.6 points of the Boulder Flyers.

Polar Bears: 35.0
Rocky Rocks: 30.2

GM Rocky is beginning to think “I got this,” Sergei Bobrovsky (30 save win) guiding his Rocky Rocks team to a 9.2 point performance, the must-must-must win Rocks now just 4.8 points in rear of the must-must-must win Polar Bears.

Central Red Army: 13.0
Badger Bob: 35.5

On Thursday David Pastrnak did what he does best, the 10th overall draft pick netting goals 33, 34 and 35 - his NHL-leading 3rd hat trick of the season - Badger Bob and their 15.8 point Day 4 now leading the camped Central Red Army by 22.5.

Cherry Pickers: 25.6
Bluliners: 33.2

With one goal and two assists, Artemi Pananin guided his Cherry Pickers team to a 9.0 point Thursday. While the number wasn’t great it was better than the 7.0 points netted by the Bluliners, GM Recoskie’s squad now leading this pivotal Probert division clash by 7.6.

Misconducts: 20.4
Vegas Vipers: 19.0

It took four days but the Vegas Vipers finally found their groove, Noel Acciari (2g) pacing the team’s 13.0 point attack. With the outburst the Vipers closed the gap on their opponent, the Misconducts carrying a soft 1.4 point lead into a soft three-game Friday.
