WEEK 7 (FINAL) O4yIKTm
Delirious fans descended upon Detroit Metropolitan Airport to welcome home their giant-killing team, the Wild Ducks handing Badger Bob their first loss of the 2019-20 season; the all-important Grimson division victory lifting the dogged Ducks to within one game of first place, their H2H record among the league’s best at 5-2.

Wild Ducks: 55.1
Badger Bob: 48.6

A loss would have placed the Wild Ducks in a three game hole. Instead, the Ducks are now banging on the door of Badger Bob; the Bobs and Ducks the only two Grimson division teams with a winning record. In defeat, Badger Bob falls to 6-1 on the season. Despite the loss, GM Chester can still boast of having the best numbers in the FHL; notable as a first round playoff bye awaits the team with the league’s best H2H record.

Vegas Vipers: 53.6
Polar Bears: 39.6

Defenseman Nate Schmidt (4 assists) poured salt into the gaping wound of the Polar Bears, the additional 9.0 points powering the Vegas Vipers to an easy double-digit win; their second victory of the season. The performance provides GM Miller with hope for the future (i.e. cancel the tee time); his team's H2H playoff hopes still intact as the Vipers improved to 2-5. The situation couldn’t be much worse for the Polar Bears, now 3-4 - the 2016 FHL Cup champion securely locked in the FHL basement; their H2H playoff hopes taking a hit by falling hard to the 11th place team.

Bluliners: 64.5
Boulder Flyers: 59.1

The Boulder Flyers were good in Week 7 but alas, they were no match for the Bluliners and their week-best score. The intradivision victory was huge for the Bluliners, now 3-4, as they moved to within one game of the Probert division leader; a loss would have sunk the team three games back. Leading most of the week, the loss was a multiple-wasp stinger for the Boulder Flyers. With a record of 4-3, the flustered Flyers remain on top of the Probert, however they now have company in the form of the Week 7-winning Ice Hogs.

Cherry Pickers: 44.8
Central Red Army: 38.9

The Cherry Pickers were approaching “must-win” territory and they responded in corresponding fashion, the Pickers upping their game to knock-off the favored Central Red Army. With the win, the Pickers improved to 3-4 on the year; the first year franchise seated just one game behind the Probert division leaders. The Central Red Army are once again under .500, the 2018 H2H Champion stumbling to 3-4 on the year; a record that leaves the 5th year franchise one game behind the best of the Domi division.

SC Cobras: 60.8
Rocky Rocks: 52.7

Rocky Rocks played good enough to win, but in the end, the SC Cobras were better; the snakes improving to 3-4 with the pivotal Domi division victory. Despite having a losing record, the Cobras are firmly planted in the playoff picture, the team seated just one game behind the Domi division leader. Rocky Rocks slipped to 2-5 with the difficult-to-swallow defeat, their record currently the worst in the league, however, with 15 weeks before the start of the H2H playoffs, there is still plenty of time for the Rocks to reverse their current course.

Ice Hogs: 42.1
Misconducts: 35.9

The Misconducts were the worst team of Week 7, and we all know what the worst score gets you - an embarrassing loss; the disastrous defeat slapping the franchise with a record of 4-3. Despite their recent struggles, the Misconducts remain on top of the Domi division (though wobbling a bit), the squad currently one game better than two teams. The Ice Hogs weren't good in Week 7 but they were good enough, the team climbing to the peak of the Probert with the win; the Hogs tied with the Boulder Flyers with a now-winning record of 4-3.

WEEK 8
Polar Bears v. Central Red Army
Bluliners v. SC Cobras
Wild Ducks v. Misconducts
Vegas Vipers v. Rocky Rocks
Boulder Flyers v. Ice Hogs
Cherry Pickers v. Badger Bob
