The city of Toronto honored the Cherry Pickers with a ticker tape parade on Monday morning, crazed fans lining Yonge Street to celebrate the teams first-ever FHL victory, the previously winless Pickers clubbing the SC Cobras with a week-best 76.4 points.Cherry Pickers: 76.4
SC Cobras: 45.6
The SC Cobras didn’t play poorly but they were no match for their runaway opponent, the snakes falling to 1-2 on the season; now two full games behind the Domi division leader. With the win, the Cherry Pickers improved to 1-2. As a resident of the Probert division - a.k.a. the slums of FHL City - the Pickers are tied for 1st place. Remarkably, no team in the Probert division owns a winning record.
Wild Ducks: 52.2
Vegas Vipers: 46.7
The Vegas Vipers played better in Week 3 but the result was the same - the Vipers now 0-3 after being tossed aside by the Wild Ducks. With the loss, the Vipers are the only team in the league to have not won a match - GM Miller sitting at the bottom of the Grimson, three games behind the division leaders. The Wild Ducks record remains pristine, the squad improving to 3-0 with the comprehensive win. In first place overall, the Ducks sit on top of the Grimson, tied with the also undefeated Bobs.
Badger Bob: 69.2
Bluliners: 40.9
Badger Bob are one of three FHL teams that can boast of a perfect record, the squad improving to 3-0 by shellacking the Bluliners. As a member of the stacked Grimson, the Bobs share the division perch with the Wild Ducks; both teams 2 games better than their divisionmates. The Bluliners are now 1-2 on the year. Residing on FHL’s skid row, the Probert division squatter remains tied for 1st place
Polar Bears: 36.0
Boulder Flyers: 32.6The Polar Bears posted the second worst score of the week but still skated away with a win, the fortunate franchise improving to 1-2 on the year; the Bears remaining two games behind the Grimson division leaders. The Boulder Flyers were the worst team of Week 3, the birds skating (with double-bladed skates) into Week 4 with a record of 1-2, the Flyers tied with three others for the Probert division lead.
Misconducts: 57.4
Rocky Rocks: 48.2
The Misconducts are now the sole owner of the Domi division lead, the team remaining perfect by KO-ing Rocky Rocks, the 3-0 franchise now one game better than the Central Red Army. Hoping to consolidate their first-ever win, Rocky Rocks was handed another loss, the Rocks falling two games behind the Misconducts in the very competitive Domi.
Ice Hogs: 47.4
Central Red Army: 42.4By upending their favored opponent, the Ice Hogs won their first match of the season, the Hogs improving to 1-2; a record that places GM Henry’s squad on to top of the Probert, tied with three other 1-2 teams. The Central Red Army’s armor finally has a ding, the team losing of the first time, their record now 2-1. No longer perfect, the team was escorted to 2nd place in the Domi, one game behind the division-leading Misconducts.
