Their back against the wall, the Central Red Army rallied past the Ice Hogs on the final day of the week, Leon Draisaitl spearheading the come from behind victory with two goals and 4.0 points, the on-the-march Army returning to 4th place overall; their H2H record a near-best 10-7.Central Red Army: 57.7
Ice Hogs: 53.7Trailing most of the week, the Central Red Army would ultimately emerge victorious, GM Buker’s troops still the best of the Domi division, tied with the Misconducts. In defeat the Ice Hogs were knocked off their Probert perch, the Hogs now trailing the division leader by one game, their record a tad worse at 10-7.
Wild Ducks: 68.8
Vegas Vipers: 33.1
A tight match early, the Wild Ducks put the pedal to the metal to thump the Vegas Vipers, the Ducks improving to a league-best 11-6. With the three other Grimson teams losing, the Ducks now enjoy a wide 4 game division lead. The Vipers meanwhile fell further out of postseason contention, their record nowhere near playoff worthy at 6-10-1.
Boulder Flyers: 43.6
Polar Bears: 42.5
The Boulder Flyers narrowly escaped the claws of the Polar Bears, the birds improving to 11-6; the Flyers and their league-best record (tied with the Ducks) still in the hunt for a first round playoff bye. The Polar Bears needed to win but alas, they didn’t, the squad stumbling to 7-10; a mark that places the Bears one game outside of the playoffs.
Misconducts: 51.9
Concussion Junction: 48.3Concussion Junction played well on Sunday but their effort fell short of a win, the Junk tumbling to 8-9 and out of the playoff conversation - trailing the SC Cobras by a tiebreaker. With the win, the Misconducts remained on top of the Domi - the squad keeping pace with the Central Red Army; the two teams tied for the division lead with identical 10-7 records.
Bluliners: 44.7
Badger Bob: 33.0
The Bluliners remained in the postseason picture by brushing aside Badger Bob, the team improving to 8-8-1; a playoff worthy record yes, but just 0.5 games from being bumped to the golf course. By losing Badger Bob retained the distinction of having the worst record in the league, the Bobs now 6-11 on the season; the playoffs not a possibility with only 5 weeks remaining in the H2H regular season.
SC Cobras: 52.8
Ice Cats: 47.1
The SC Cobras are once again a playoff team after defeating the Ice Cats, GM Murphy’s squad improving to 8-9; the snakes getting the playoff nod over the also 8-9 Concussion Junction as they defeated the Junk in Week 10. The Ice Cats fell to 6-11, the league-worst record (tied with the Bobs) placing the franchise 5 games back in the Probert; the 2018-19 playoffs nothing more than a pipe dream.
