WEEK 2 (FINAL) POVwbaz
With the Week 2 horn blaring, Jake Guentzel celebrates his team’s first-ever FHL H2H victory, the Rocky Rocks second round pick sealing the deal by ripping two goals on Sunday, the rolling Rocks disposing of the Cherry Pickers by 18.4 points.

Rocky Rocks: 44.9
Cherry Pickers: 26.5

By soundly defeating their fellow first year opponent, Rocky Rocks improves to 1-1 on the season; the Rocks seated in 3rd place in the Domi, one game back. Two weeks in, the FHL has been no bowl of cherries for GM Recoskie, his Cherry Pickers tumbling to 0-2 on the year; the shuffling squad trailing the best of the Probert division by a single game.

Central Red Army: 55.3
SC Cobras: 53.3

The SC Cobras seemingly did enough to secure a win on Sunday, but their strong 8.6 point effort was rebuffed by their opponent’s 8.0 point showing, the Domi division snakes losing for the first time this season; their H2H record now square at 1-1. The Central Red Army remain undefeated with their solid Week 2 performance, the well-armed Army stationed on top of the Domi division with a still-perfect record of 2-0.

Boulder Flyers: 37.2
Vegas Vipers: 36.7

The Boulder Flyers fired blanks on Sunday but ultimately had just enough points in storage to fend-off the Vegas Vipers, the Probert-best Flyers improving to 1-1 with the nail-biting 0.5 point win. The Vegas Vipers begin Week 3 still searching for their first victory (and the basement exit), the disappointing loss leaving GM Miller and his disappointing Vipers with a disappointing record of 0-2.

Wild Ducks: 71.0
Bluliners: 57.4

The Wild Ducks were the best of Week 2, their considerable 71.0 point effort placing the team on top of both the FHL and the Grimson division - the Ducks overall lead currently 3.0 points; their H2H record unblemished at 2-0. The Bluliners played well but were rudely handed their first defeat, the team slipping to 1-1 for the season; tied with the Boulder Flyers for the Probert division lead.

Misconducts: 57.5
Polar Bears: 41.5

Always a strong H2H team, the Misconducts have started the new year in typical fashion, the 2018-19 H2H champion improving to 2-0 by throttling the Polar Bears; GM Smalley’s squad seated next to the Central Red Army on top of the Domi. The Polar Bears are still winless as they skate into Week 3, a not-good-enough 41.5 points leaving the team with a not-good record of 0-2.

Badger Bob: 51.9
Ice Hogs: 33.5

Badger Bob was hoping for a solid start to the season and a solid start is what they got, the Bobs still flawless after brushing aside the Ice Hogs; GM Chester’s 2-0 squad tied with the Wild Ducks for the Grimson division lead. With another loss strapped to their back, the Ice Hogs skate into Week 3 as one of four winless teams, a record of 0-2 leaving the famished pigs one game back of the Probert division leaders.

WEEK 3
Badger Bob v. Bluliners
Vegas Vipers v. Wild Ducks
Boulder Flyers v. Polar Bears
Cherry Pickers v. SC Cobras
Rocky Rocks v. Misconducts
Central Red Army v. Ice Hogs
