WEEK 5 (FINAL) VkRWiFn
Perfection can no longer be found at the FHL as the two undefeated teams both lost; Joe Pavelski and his Misconducts falling to the Polar Bears and the Ice Cats, typically lead by the play of Max Pacioretty, succumbing to the Ice Hogs.

Polar Bears: 59.2
Misconducts: 32.5

The second best score of the week landed the Polar Bears in first place. The performance also handed the Misconducts their first H2H loss of the season, GM Elya's squad now 3-2, one game behind the Misconducts and Ice Cats, both 4-1. Despite losing, the Misconducts remain in the thick of the race for the FHL Cup, GM Smalley's team now in 3rd place overall, 7.9 shy of the summit.

Ice Hogs: 37.5
Ice Cats: 31.4

On top of the world when Carey Price was hoarding points, the Ice Cats have fallen on hard times, a paltry 31.4 effort resulting in their first loss of the season. The overall standings are just as ugly, GM Cutshall's once relevant team now in 6th place, a worrisome 36.5 from the top spot. The Ice Hogs improved to 3-2, a winning record despite spending much of the season in the basement; a position they no longer occupy as they passed the Bipolar Flyers on Friday.

Boulder Flyers: 44.1
Wild Ducks: 36.4

An up-and-down week was up enough for the Boulder Flyers to secure their second win of the season, defeating the Wild Ducks to improve to 2-3. The okay number of points wasn't enough to keep GM Morgan out of the cellar, falling to 12th place, now 0.8 worse than the Ice Hogs. The Wild Ducks continue to tread water, GM Collard's toothless team now 1-4; last place in the H2H standings and 10th place overall, 60.7 behind the first place Bears.

Badger Bob: 40.1
Silicon Valley Slashers: 35.7

After hoisting their first win last week the Slashers are back in the H2H dumpster, falling to Badger Bob in the Belle Tire "Match of the Week," their record a dismal 1-4. Despite their H2H woes the Slashers are alive and kicking in the overall standings, currently in 2nd place just 6.1 shy of the FHL perch. Badger Bob improved to 3-2 and are now just one game behind the H2H leaders. Overall the Bobs continue to hang close, currently in 5th place, 22.0 points from the top and just 14.1 shy of the money (3rd place).

Bluliners: 62.2
Redliners: 29.0

The Bluliners were the best team of Week 5, GM Hamilton's surging squad now in 4th place overall, just 17.0 points from what would be their fifth FHL Cup. The point storm also padded the Bluliners H2H record, now 3-2. The Redliners slumped to 2-3 with the lopsided loss, GM Megan's limping team now in 7th place in the H2H standings, two games back, and in 7th place overall, now 40.9 behind the best of the FHL.

Between the Pipes: 34.0
SC Cobras: 29.4

Sean Monahan and his two goals provided the Cobras with a ray of hope on Friday but those hopes were eventually dashed, GM Murphy's team tumbling under .500 in defeat, their record now 2-3. Overall the Cobras are now in 8th place, 58.6 back. Between the Pipes won their "must win" match, the first year franchise now 2-3. Overall the Pipes currently reside on the wrong side of the FHL tracks, in 9th place, 59.0 points from the top.
