| Bored with winning league championships in typical fashion, GM Collard and his Wild Ducks are attempting to secure the 2019-20 FHL Cup without scoring a single goaltending point. To date, the plan is working to perfection, another league-best performance (and another evening with zip from their goalies) placing the Ducks on the heels of 1st place, the 9-time champion trailing the SC Cobras by a mere 1.1 points.Wild Ducks: 48.0 Bluliners: 43.4 The marquee match of the week is living up to expectations as both the Wild Ducks and Bluliners lay waste to Thursday; Patrik Laine (2g, 2a, 10pts) guiding the Ducks to a 21.0 point outing while Steven Stamkos (1g, 3a) secured 8.0 of the Bluliners 19.9 points - the Ducks leading this heated affair by 4.6. Badger Bob: 34.2 Ice Hogs: 25.5 There was a lot of scoring on Day 4 but neither team could muster a bonus point, Badger Bob departing Thursday with 14.0 points while the Ice Hogs countered with 13.5. All told, this non-divisional match remains more-or-less the same, the 0-1 Hogs trailing the 1-0 Bobs by 8.7. Vegas Vipers: 23.7 Boulder Flyers: 21.6Goaltenders Connor Hellebuyck (38 saves) and Matt Murray (33 saves) combined for 7.1 points, the Boulder Flyers clawing their way back into this battle of winless teams, GM Morgan and his birds trailing the cellar-dwelling Vipers by 2.1 points. SC Cobras: 34.4 Central Red Army: 28.1Very little separated the Central Red Army and the SC Cobras on Thursday, the snakes outpointing GM Buker’s battalion 13.1 to 12.0; GM Murphy’s 1st place team leading the 5th place Army by 6.3 points with Friday and the weekend remaining in the week. Misconducts: 40.3 Polar Bears: 25.0 The league’s best defense continues to fuel the Misconducts Express, John Carlson (3a) and Brent Burns (1g, 1a) lifting a combined 12.0 points from Thursday - GM Smalley netting 20.4 points in all, the galloping Misconducts now leading the strolling Bears by 15.3. Cherry Pickers: 13.0 Rocky Rocks: 21.4 There apparently aren’t a lot of cherries to be had on the low branches of the Week 2 tree, as such, GM Recoskie will have to find a ladder and find one soon, a dismal 4.0 point Thursday placing the points-parched team 8.4 points in rear of rocking Rocky.
