The Boulder Flyers seem to bring out the best in teams - and that again appears to be the case in Week 8, the previously struggling SC Cobras now red-hot; the second best Friday resulting in the second best score of the week, the snakes leading this contest by 14.3.

Ice Hogs: 42.9
Bluliners: 41.1­
Trekking hard toward a loss, the Bluliners have abruptly reversed course, a 21.0 point Friday drawing GM Hamilton's squad back into this pivotal Probert division match, the Hogs leading this suddenly heated affair by just 1.8 points.

Ice Cats: 56.8
Central Red Army: 24.9
While the Bluliners continue to play well, the Ice Cats have quietly morphed into the best team in the league, another fat 22.4 point outing placing GM Cutshall's 2nd place team just 24.3 points back. The Cats are also en route to their sixth win of the season, leading the outgunned Central Red Army by almost 32.0 points.

Wild Ducks: 33.0
Badger Bob: 36.3­
There was no separating these two on the day after Thanksgiving as both Badger Bob and the Wild Ducks collected 16.0 points, the Bobs maintaining their 3.3 point advantage in this key Grimson battle.

Polar Bears: 41.3
Misconducts: 42.7
The Misconducts scrambled past the underdog Polar Bears on Friday as GM Smalley's squad pocketed 15.9 points. The now-trailing Polar Bears carded just 10.8, GM Elya's deficit a manageable 1.4 points.

Vegas Vipers: 34.5
Mooses: 35.3
The Vegas Vipers were the far better team on Friday as they outpointed the Mooses 15.3 to 8.4, GM Miller's 5-2 squad now just 0.8 points behind the 2-5 Mooses with a 14-game weekend on tap.
