PostSubject: WEEK 14 (thru Friday)   Sat Jan 05, 2019 12:11 pm

With 19 goals and 46 assists in just 42 games, Mikko Rantanen continues to make his case for the season-ending “Biggest Steal of the Draft” award, the late 3rd round selection netting another 7.0 points (2g, 1a) on Friday, his 2nd place Vegas Vipers team departing the day with a league-best 16.0 points.

Boulder Flyers: 58.1
Vegas Vipers: 57.9

The Boulder Flyers thought it was smooth sailing after netting 15.3 on Friday, but again their numbers were overshadowed by those of the Vegas Vipers - GM Miller’s incessant squad inching even closer; the Flyers now leading this torrid tussle by a mere 0.2.

Wild Ducks: 46.2
Bluliners: 48.2

Leading yesterday, the Wild Ducks are leading no more - the Tyson Barrie (3a) backed Bluliners dumping 12.0 points on the unappreciative Ducks, GM Hamilton’s squad now leading this Original Six fracas by 2.0 points.

Polar Bears: 36.3
Misconducts: 29.6

The Polar Bears only bagged 4.0 points on Friday but they still gained ground on their limping opponent, GM Elya’s squad now leading the mercurial Misconducts by 6.7 heading into a relatively light 9-game Saturday.

Central Red Army: 52.8
SC Cobras: 28.4

With nothing to show for Friday the Central Red Army were ripe for the picking. The SC Cobras however forgot to bring a ladder to Friday - the snakes securing the lone 2.0 that had fallen from the Points Tree; the Army still leading this mismatch by too much.

Ice Hogs: 42.1
Badger Bob: 26.0

There were no fireworks to be had in this non-divisional match, Badger Bob collecting 2.0 while the Ice Hogs could only muster a single point. As such, the hole in which GM Chester stands remains cavernous, the Hogs advantage a daunting 16.1.

Concussion Junction: 37.8
Ice Cats: 35.1

While still on the outside looking in, the Ice Cats now have their nose pressed against the window of Concussion Junction, a solid 10.0 point showing placing the Cats just 2.7 points behind the Junk.
