Mired in the lower half or the standings - their FHL Cup hopes fading - the Central Red Army launched an all-out assault on Thursday, the second year franchise ripping 33.4 points; Nathan MacKinnon leading the charge with a monster one goal, four assist, 11.0 point performance.

Central Red Army: 42.4
Mooses: 23.2

What a difference a day makes. In tenth place and owner of one of the worst scores of the week on Wednesday, the Central Red Army are now the best team of Week 7, GM Buker's team commandeering sixth place with their turnaround Thursday - the Army now only 37.8 points out of first place. The Mooses meanwhile could only cover their ears, GM McCormick's trembling team now trailing by 19.2.

Wild Ducks: 36.3
SC Cobras: 10.9

Roberto Luongo posted a 35 save, 7.0 point shutout, leading his Wild Ducks team to the promised land of second place - just 26.5 points in back of the Bluliners. The performance also buried the SC Cobras and their hopes of winning another match, the last place team now trailing the Ducks by a lot.

Boulder Flyers: 41.3
Vegas Vipers: 31.7

Despite having one Auston Matthews tied behind their back, the Boulder Flyers continue to lead the Vegas Vipers. The Vipers however have narrowed the gap significantly, a 42 save, 8.4 point Frederik Andersen shutout drawing the favored 5-1 team to within 9.6 points of GM Morgan's 1-5 birds.

Bluliners: 16.0
Ice Cats: 21.7

While the rest of the league was scarfing down points the Bluliners were nibbling on lettuce and steamed tofu, GM Hamilton posting a defenseless 2.0 points. As a result the overall picture is considerably tighter - five Cup-hungry teams now within forty points. The forgettable Thursday has also left the Booliners in an unexpected H2H hole, trailing the Ice Cats by 5.7.

Badger Bob: 27.8
Misconducts: 25.7

Badger Bob dumped 18.8 points on their opponent on Thursday, GM Chester's back-in-it squad now leading the Misconducts by 2.1 points. The Bobs also scooted closer to the top with their point-heavy performance, the galloping eighth place team now only 47.8 points behind the strolling Bluliners.

Polar Bears: 23.5
Ice Hogs: 26.0

The Ice Hogs once again scored more points than the Polar Bears, a 12.0 point evening leaving GM Henry's ninth place squad 2.5 points in front of the tenth place Polar Bears. With the Bluliners misfiring, both teams moved closer to the top - the Hogs now a manageable 50.8 points back; the Bears trailing by 57.1.
