WEEK 13 (FINAL) KTiKEIS
Thanks in large part to Eric Staal's 9.0 point week - including a table-turning assist on Sunday - Badger Bob defeated the Silicon Valley Slashers, GM Chester's team now in the thick of the race for the seventh and final playoff spot.

Badger Bob: 34.3
Silicon Valley Slashers: 33.8

"Exciting finish for me," so said GM Chester after his Badger Bob team narrowly defeated the Silicon Valley Slashers, rallying past their rival on the final day of the week. The much-needed win left Badger Bob with a record of 6-7, now tied with two other teams for the final playoff berth. Overall, the Bobs close Week 13 in 9th place. The Silicon Valley Slashers slipped to 6-7 in defeat; less confident maybe but still in the hunt for the H2H playoffs and it's $200.00 purse. The overall standings find the Slashers in 8th place, 106.8 points back but just 65.5 points shy of Top 3 money.

Ice Cats: 45.3
Ice Hogs: 31.8

It's rare that the best team in the league posts the worst score of the week, but that's what happened in Week 13, the banged-up Ice Hogs crawling out the back door with just 31.8 points. With yet another injury-induced hole to fill, the Hogs lead suddenly looks precarious, the 2nd place Misconducts poised to pounce. Meanwhile the Ice Cats are rejoicing, GM Cutshall's team now playoff worthy with a record of 6-7. The Cats have also quietly moved north in the standings, now in 5th place - just 68.8 points behind the league-leader; a mere 27.5 points behind 3rd place and it's $100.00 prize.

Misconducts: 55.1
Bluliners: 48.4

The best score of the week belongs to the Misconducts, GM Smalley's two-time champion squad clawing their way to within 18.3 points of first place. The Misconducts are also the best H2H team in the land, the win leaving the Domi division leader with a record of 10-3. The Bluliners enjoyed a solid week, GM Hamilton's squad exiting Week 13 with 48.4 points; the five-time champ now lodged in 4th place, just 57.1 points behind the Ice Hogs. The money is even closer, the Bluliners trailing the 3rd place Wild Ducks by only 15.8 points.

Polar Bears: 48.2
Wild Ducks: 46.6

Leading the entire week, the Ducks were trapped, butchered and roasted on the final day of the week, the Polar Bears escaping with a much-needed victory. The unexpected win leaves the Bears with a record of 4-9; not especially impressive but only two games shy of qualifying for the H2H playoffs. The Wild Ducks slipped to 9-4 for the season; still three full games better than Badger Bob in the Grimson division. Overall the Wild Ducks remain in the money, the 3rd place team now 41.3 steps behind the front-running Ice Hogs.

SC Cobras: 46.1
Between the Pipes: 27.0

The previously quiet Pipes made noise on the final day of the week but it wasn't enough to startle the SC Cobras, GM Murphy's snakes improving to 7-5-1 with the relatively easy win. Overall, the SC Cobras remain in the hunt for a post-season paycheck, resting in 7th place, 85.6 points from the top; 44.3 points in back of the 3rd place ($100.00). Between the Pipes are now 4-9 for the season. Despite sitting at the bottom of both the overall and Grimson division standings, GM Miller's squad remains in the chase for a playoff berth, trailing the final spot by just two games.

Central Red Army: 43.8
Boulder Flyers: 34.3

The Central Red Army are now 8-5 for the year, brushing aside the Boulder Flyers in Week 13. Comfortably holding a H2H playoff card, the Army are currently nestled in 6th place overall; the FHL Cup and Top 3 cash still a real possibility with 12 long weeks remaining in the season. The Boulder Flyers didn't post the lowest score of the week. That's the good news. The bad news: everything else; GM Morgan's walking birds now 2-11 for the season. The overall picture is just as grim, the FHL basement much closer than the FHL attic.

WEEK 14
Bluliners v. Boulder Flyers
Central Red Army v. Ice Hogs
Misconducts v. Ice Cats
Silicon Valley Slashers v. SC Cobras
Badger Bob v. Polar Bears
Between the Pipes v. Wild Ducks
