WEEK 13 (FINAL) TImJsz4
On Friday Patrick Kane laid some serious hurt on the FHL champion wannabes, the Polar Bear sniper pocketing 13.0 points (3g, 1a), increasing his team's lead to 27.5.

Polar Bears: 50.5
Silicon Valley Slashers: 32.4

An average week turned into a damn good week thanks to the play of Patrick Kane, GM Elya breathing a little easier on Saturday. The outburst also provided the Bears with their 10th win of the season, maintaining their one game lead in the H2H division. The Silicon Valley Slashers stumbled to 4-9 in defeat. That's the least of their problems however as the one-time Cup contender has slipped a worrisome 45.1 points behind the first place Polar Bears.

Bluliners: 58.7
Wild Ducks: 46.5

The Bluliners were the best team of the week; a week that saw the four-time champion move into FHL Cup contention. The performance also provided the Bluliners with their 6th win of the season, their overall mark still under .500 at 6-7. The Wild Ducks performed admirably on Friday - netting 12.0 points - but it was not enough, GM Collard's quacks tumbling to 4-9. Overall, the Ducks remain entrenched in 11th place though the basement is no longer a concern, the seven-time champ now 32.2 points better than the last place Redliners.

SC Cobras: 42.4
Misconducts: 30.3

The SC Cobras had little trouble with the Misconducts, coasting to a 12.1 victory. For the season the Cobras are now 6-7, four large games behind the H2H division leader. The overall standings find the snakes in a much better position, GM Murphy's team seated comfortably in 2nd place, 27.5 points south of the Bears. The Misconducts are teetering on the edge of mediocrity, their H2H record now 7-6. Like the Cobras, the overall picture is much brighter, GM Smalley's team nestled in 3rd place, 32.5 points back.

Boulder Flyers: 44.0
Ice Hogs: 38.3

Trailing most of the week, the Boulder Flyers rallied on Friday, a Connor Hellebuyck shutout providing GM Morgan with a 5.7 point victory. The comeback win lifted GM Morgan’s record to  6-7, his birds a distant four games back. Overall, the Flyers are lodged in 9th place though still have their eye on an FHL payday, trailing the 3rd place Misconducts by 65.5. The Ice Hogs slipped under .500 for the first time in recent memory, the defending H2H champion now planted behind the eight ball. The overall picture find the Hogs still in contention for the money but now trail a third FHL championship by 106.7 points.

Badger Bob: 37.7
Between the Pipes: 37.4

By the hair on their chinny-chin-chin, Badger Bob defeated Between the Pipes, GM Chester’s did-nothing-on-Friday squad escaping with a 0.3 win. The victory was enormous as it kept the Bobs just one game behind the division-leading Polar Bears. Overall, Badger Bob are middle of the pack, trailing the coveted FHL Cup by 63.4 points; a season-ending payday (3rd place) 32.9 points in the distance. The difficult loss dropped Between the Pipes to 7-6 on the season, GM Millers team now three games shy of first place. Overall, the Pipes closed the week in 8th place, 65.4 points back.

Ice Cats: 42.2
Redliners: 20.0

The Ice Cats had little trouble with the troubled Redliners, GM Cutshall’s team still in contention for the H2H championship after the merciless win. The victory bumped the Ice Cats record to 9-4, the Cats still just one game behind the division leader. The overall standings find the Ice Cats in 6th place, their first FHL Cup championship still a possibility, trailing by 58.5. The Redliners are now 4-9 on the season, the fish-tailing squad seated in last place in both the overall and H2H division.
