Wayne Simmonds potted two goals on Sunday, ensuring the Boulder Flyers would win the H2H2H title.

Boulder Flyers: 99.1Week 24 (FINAL) Cq96
Bluliners: 77.2
Misconducts: 64.6

• A monster final week provided the Boulder Flyers with the H2H2H crown as they finished the season with a record of 13-11, one game better than the FHL champion Bluliners. The championship yields no trophy but GM Morgan will take home an additional $25.00. The Flyers rebounded from a difficult 4-8 start, securing the title by winning 9 of their final 12 matches.
• The Bluliners failed in their quest to win the H2H2H crown but still pocketed $9.00 for their second place performance. GM Hamilton’s disappointment of finishing second was no doubt soothed by their FHL Championship season. By landing the big fish the Bluliners earned the respect of the eight other GM’s and a crisp check for $350.00.
• The Misconducts skated into the sunset carrying a bag full of “what happened’s” as the two-time champion landed in 6th place in the overall standings and 3rd place in the H2H2H race. A factor early in the season, the Misconducts fired blanks for most of the second half, gaping holes never filled by trade or acquisition.

Ice Hogs: 55.4Week 24 (FINAL) Cq96
Polar Bears: 53.7
Redliners: 45.5

• A team that hasn’t been touched in weeks, the Ice Hogs uncovered just enough points to defeat the Polar Bears; the win leaving the Hogs with a record of 6-18. A non-factor for most of the year, GM Henry’s team finished in 5th place in the overall standings; a position they hugged for much of the season.
• The Polar Bears deserved better. GM Elya’s team spent much of the season on top of the charts before being reeled in by the Bluliners. Even then the second place Bears were poised to pounce. It never happened as injuries took their toll, the banged-up Bears eventually sliding into third. Still, the season was memorable for many reasons; the finish the best of GM Elya’s blossoming FHL career.
• The Redliners finished last in the overall standings and last in the H2H2H standings, their record a miserable 2-22. Despite their lack of success, many GM’s are tipping their hat toward GM Megan as the 2013 runner-up never threw in the towel, making moves up until the final week of the season. For the effort alone, the Redliners can depart 2014 with their head held high. Kudos.

Dream Team: 71.7Week 24 (FINAL) Cq96
Wild Ducks: 55.8
Ice Cats: 54.1

• It was a season of “what if’s” for GM Austin's 7th place squad. What if Steven Stamkos hadn’t gotten hurt? What if the deep and talented team had a GM who tended to his roster and made moves on a regular basis?
• The Wild Ducks season is finally over. It’s been nothing but agony, heartache and frustration for the seven-time champion; a forgettable campaign that leaves GM Collard's Ducks with their worst-ever finish in the history of the franchise.
• The Ice Cats flirted with greatness during the season but could never quite get their affairs in order; a good campaign that resulted in a 4th place finish in the overall standings and a 3rd place finish in the H2H2H race, GM Cutshall's final record 9-15.
