WEEK 15 (thru Saturday) 6JcLr4V
The Central Red Army will soon be enjoying a champagne shower in their locker room, the team on the verge of clinching a spot in the 2020-21 H2H playoffs after their league-best Saturday performance, Darcy Kuemper (26 save shutout) posting 5.2 of the team’s 23.2 points, the Army’s lead over the roasted Hogs now 25.9 points.

Ice Hogs: 31.2
Central Red Army: 57.1

The marquee match of the week turned out to be a dud, the Central Red Army, thus far, posting the best score of the week while the Ice Hogs, thus far, posting the league’s worst score. With the Day 6 outburst, the guns-blazing Army also saw their overall fortunes improve, GM Buker and his squadron now camped just 35.2 points in back of $250 (2nd place). The Hogs were dispatched to 5th place overall, GM Henry’s squad - despite having virtually/literally no chance to skate in the postseason - still very much in the chase for FHL gold.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Ice Hogs: 4 players; Central Red Army: 2 players)
Ice Hogs: Oliver Bjorkstrand, Colin Blackwell, Taylor Hall, Andrei Vasilevskiy
Central Red Army: Craig Smith, Charlie McAvoy

Polar Bears: 41.7
Wild Ducks: 41.0

Jared Spurgeon (1g, 1a) saved the Wild Ducks from what could have been a truly ugly Saturday, the unheralded defenseman collecting 6.0 of his team’s 9.6 points. The Polar Bears took advantage of their opponents so-so Saturday, defender Cale Makar (1g, 2a, 9.0 pts) pacing a 14.0 point attack. While the Bears begin play on Sunday with a 0.7 point lead, the team isn’t confident of a win - GM Elya having played all of his Week 15 cards while the Ducks will be bringing Sam Reinhart to the H2H regular season finale.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Polar Bears: 0 players; Wild Ducks: 1 player)
Polar Bears: None
Wild Ducks: Sam Reinhart

Cherry Pickers: 41.3
Bluliners: 35.3

GM Recoskie, reportedly, consumed an entire bottle of Maalox (and three rolls of Tums) as he watched helplessly as his bench and Covid Reserve harvested bonus points. Despite the lost opportunity, the Cherry Pickers were able to retain the lion’s share of their overall lead - and their lead over the Bluliners - the 1st place Pickers now 22.6 points better than the 2nd place Wild Ducks; their advantage over the Bluliners currently 6.0.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Cherry Pickers: 5 players; Bluliners: 1 players)
Cherry Pickers: Brayden Point, Jeff Carter, Victor Hedman, Seth Jones, Tuukka Rask*
Bluliners: Yanni Gourde
*At press time, start not confirmed.

SC Cobras: 48.5
Misconducts: 46.8

There was a lot of drama heading into Saturday as the Misconducts were still alive-and-kicking in the race for the playoffs. That's no longer the case as the Central Red Army has slammed the door on both the Ice Hogs and Misconducts, GM Smalley to spend the postseason whacking balls at FHL Meadows. With no hope of qualifying for the playoffs, GM Murphy is focused on winning Top 3 money. Saturday did nothing to improve those odds as the SC Cobras departed the day with only 6.8 points
LAST DAY LINEUP (SC Cobras: 6 players; Misconducts: 2 players)
SC Cobras: Brad Marchand, Mika Zibanejad, Pavel Buchnevich, Mikhail Sergachev, Ivan Provorov, Igor Shesterkin
Misconducts: Jake Guentzel, Rasmus Dahlin

Lumberjacks: 50.4
Baba Booey: 41.1

With the tiebreaker stuffed in his back pocket, GM Recoskie is skating into Sunday as the favorite to secure the 4th and final ticket to the playoffs - the Lumberjacks needing nothing more than a win to lock a spot. With just one four-game Sunday remaining in the week, the Jacks are leading Baba Booey by 9.3 points; the Booeys failing to gain significant ground after netting only 9.0 points on the penultimate day of the week.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Lumberjacks: 6 players; Baba Booey: 4 players)
Lumberjacks: Sidney Crosby, David Krejci, Kris Letang, Mike Reilly, Tristan Jarry*, Dustin Tokarski
Baba Booey: David Pastrnak, Chris Kreider, Victor Olofsson, Adam Fox
*At press time, start not confirmed.

Rocky Rocks: 53.3
Boulder Flyers: 46.9

Dougie Hamilton ripped two goals and 9.0 points as Rocky Rocks raced in front of the Boulder Flyers - the Rocks drawing the curtain on Saturday with 17.0 points. Their effort however could all be for naught as the Lumberjacks, who own the tiebreaker (by winning the season series, 2-1), are winning their H2H match. Big picture-wise, the on-a-roll Rocks are now seated in 3rd place overall ($150), just 3.2 points in back of 2nd ($250). The Boulder Flyers? Well, they’re losing again.
LAST DAY LINEUP (Rocky Rocks: 6 players; Boulder Flyers: 3 players)
Rocky Rocks: Artemi Panarin, Jared McCann, Patrice Bergeron, Alex Killorn, Bryan Rust, Ryan Strome
Boulder Flyers: Patrik Laine, Jack Hughes, Shayne Gostisbehere
