| Of the four teams that scored twenty or more points on Saturday, Badger Bob harvested the most, Henrik Sedin (1g, 4a) and Daniel Sedin (3g, 1a) guiding their squad to a prolific 25.0 point outing.Badger Bob: 25.0 Bluliners: 12.0Badger Bob are well on their way to what would be their fourth win of the season, GM Chesters on-fire squad currently leading the Bluliners by 13.0. The overall standings now find Badger Bob in 4th place, tied with their head-to-head opponent, both the Bobs and Bluliners 41.2 behind the still-hot Polar Bears. Polar Bears: 20.0 Ice Hogs: 3.0The week is only a day old and the Ice Hogs are already looking for a white flag to wave, GM Henry's strolling team currently trailing the sprinting Polar Bears by 17.0. The lowest Saturday score dropped the Hogs, 4-2, back into the basement while the Polar Bears, also 4-2, continue to bask in the sunshine of first place, their overall advantage a bit less comfortable at 16.9. Silicon Valley Slashers: 23.9 Ice Cats: 12.2Rick Nash finally scraped the rust off his game, the veteran sniper ripping a 9.0 point hat trick. All told, the Slashers collected 23.9 points on Saturday, jumping into second place in the overall standings. GM Murphy's team is also inline to secure what would be just their second win of the season, the 1-5 franchise leading the 4-2 Ice Cats by 11.7. Boulder Flyers: 11.4 Misconducts: 10.0The Boulder Flyers were the beneficiary of a Tuukka Rask shutout, the oft-struggling backstop stopping all 22 pucks launched in his direction. As a result the no-longer-in-last-place Flyers are 1.4 better than the Misconducts, GM Smalley's team slipping into 3rd place overall, now a thick 30.3 behind the first place Polar Bears. Between the Pipes: 21.0 Redliners: 3.0 Citing prior commitments, the Redliners didn't attend Saturday's point parade, GM Megan's team departing the day with just 3.0 points. As a result the Reds were dumped into 8th place, now 63.8 back. Between the Pipes were sitting in the front row at Saturday's parade, GM Millers team hoarding 21.0. The Pipes are now in 7th place overall, their H2H win outlook currently tracking in the right direction. Wild Ducks: 5.4 SC Cobras: 19.0Like the Ice Hogs and Redliners, GM Collard is already thinking "no mas," his Wild Ducks currently trailing the Cobras by 13.6. Defensemen Brent Burns (2g) once again did most of the damage, lifting his Cobras team into 9th place in the overall standings. The Wild Ducks dropped a notch, the now-in-tenth-place outfit a stiff 85.0 shy of the best team in the league. LINK: Standings |
