With the worst “thru Thursday” score threatening the Wild Ducks run at the FHL Cup, Sam Reinhart took the bull by the horns, the 25-year-old winger netting his fourth career hat trick - and 9.0 of his team’s Friday-best 10.0 points - the back-on-track Ducks drawing to within 24.2 points of 1st place.

Polar Bears: 27.7
Wild Ducks: 31.4­
“Well, that didn’t go as planned” said GM Elya after his Polar Bears were crushed by the again-in-2nd-place Wild Ducks, the were-leading Bears - after collecting just 2.0 points on Friday - now staring at an unexpected 3.7 point deficit.

SC Cobras: 41.7
Misconducts: 41.8­
Rasmus Dahlin (1g, 1a) was responsible for all of his team’s points - the Misconducts keeping pace with the SC Cobras as both teams netted 6.0. The Day 5 effort did result in the Misconducts gaining ground on the Ice Hogs in the overall standings, GM Smalley’s playoff-long-shot squad now just 10.5 points in back of the second tiebreaker.

Ice Hogs: 24.5
Central Red Army: 33.9­
Second tiebreakers won’t matter if the Central Red Army win this match, a victory in Week 15 placing the Army in the playoffs. “So far so good,” said GM Buker at the post-Friday press conference, his team outnumbering the week-worst Ice Hogs 7.9 points to 3.0; the Army’s lead now 9.4.

Lumberjacks: 44.4
Baba Booey: 32.1­
The FHL will also punch the Lumberjacks playoff ticket if they defeat Baba Booey - a path they continue to track as the Jacks lead by 12.3 points heading into a stiff 11-game Saturday.

Rocky Rocks: 36.3
Boulder Flyers: 38.3
Rocky Rocks needs some help (i.e. Baba Booey having a great weekend) to qualify for the postseason. They also need to win this match - something they’re not doing five days into the week, the Rocks trailing the bad news Boulders by 2.0.

Cherry Pickers: 33.3
Bluliners: 30.0
Tuukka Rask was credited with arguably the lamest goalie assist in FHL history (you can view the assist HERE). Lame assists however are still worth 3.0 points, the under-fire Cherry Pickers now leading this inconsequential Canuck division match by 3.3.
