WEEK 7 (thru Thursday) H8hpwMb
Don’t look now but the winless, 0-6, dead-last Canuck division, dead-last overall team has the highest score of Week 7; the Boulder Flyers with 43.7 points after a Kyle Connor-inspired 14.8 point performance, the Flyers - 86.9 points back just three days ago - now trailing the best of the FHL by only 58.2 points.

Lumberjacks: 18.5
Boulder Flyers: 43.7

GM Recoskie spent most of Thursday looking for his Week 7 receipt - hoping to return what he thought was going to be an easy week. But alas, the FHL does not accept returns, the Lumberjacks and their lousy 3.0 point Thursday now trailing the bounding Boulder Flyers by 25.2 points.

SC Cobras: 12.4
Wild Ducks: 35.1

Hoping to shed the “worst score of the week” label, the SC Cobras were optimistic heading into Thursday. After recording just 2.0 points, the “worst score of the week” label - previously affixed with glue - has now been nailed to the Cobras, a paltry 12.4 points leaving the team a full 22.7 points behind the Wild Ducks.

Cherry Pickers: 19.0
Baba Booey: 20.8

The undefeated, first place Cherry Pickers have only scored 19.0 points through Thursday - a number that would leave most teams in a deep H2H hole. The fortunate franchise however is still hot-on-the-heels of a win - and a still-perfect record, the phlegmatic <—college word Pickers trailing Baba Booey by just 1.8 points.

Polar Bears: 23.5
Ice Hogs: 32.2

The underdog Ice Hogs netted only 4.8 points on Thursday - which allowed the not-underdog Polar Bears to close the gap slightly; the Bears now trailing the playing-well Hogs by 8.7 points ahead of a soft three-game Friday.

Rocky Rocks: 29.5
Bluliners: 36.8

Trailing by 13.7 points after play on Tuesday, Rocky Rocks has quietly been chiseling away at their opponent’s lead - the Rocks drawing to within 7.3 points of the fast-start Bluliners by netting 7.4 points on Thursday - 6.4 of those points compliments of a Mike Smith, 32 save shutout; the 38-year-old backstop, 6-0, still perfect in 2020-21.

Central Red Army: 25.3
Misconducts: 25.9

The Misconducts caught and passed the Central Red Army on Thursday - outpointing their opponent 10.8 to 5.0 - the Yankee division leader now 0.6 points better than the Army with only Friday and a twenty-game weekend remaining in the week.
