WEEK 6 (thru Monday) UzZmMPN
A one-man wrecking crew (actually, one of a three-man wrecking crew), Brad Marchand once again delivered the goods, a 2 goal, 3 assist, 13.0 point evening providing his streaking Badger Bob team with their biggest lead of the season, the 1st place Bobs now 18.6 points better than the rest.

Badger Bob: 18.0
Vegas Vipers: 0.0

As the only undefeated team in the league, Badger Bob, 5-0 will look to remain perfect as they travel to Metro Detroit to take on the Vegas Vipers, a struggling team that arrived at a 1-4 record with subpar play and a healthy dose of bad luck. With both teams seated in the Domi division, this is a monster match for the Vipers. A win would draw the team to within three games of the Bobs; a loss would harness the team with a five game deficit and a very difficult to overcome record of 1-5.

Rocky Rocks: 0.0
Boulder Flyers: 1.0

Old meets new as the grizzled Boulder Flyers head to Canada to take on Rocky Rocks, the first year franchise bringing a 2-3 mark to this international battle; the Boulder Flyers beginning play with a record of 3-2. The Flyers will remain on top of the Probert by rolling the Rocks. For GM Rocky, the stakes are a tad higher, his team currently two games back in the Domi - a deficit that can only be reduced if they clip the wings of the Flyers.

Central Red Army: 2.0
Bluliners: 0.0

A clash of 2-3 teams as the Central Red Army locks horns with the Bluliners. A perennial H2H powerhouse, the Army find themselves in an unusual situation as their record has dipped under .500, the skidding squad a troubling two games behind the Domi division leader. The Bluliners find themselves in a similar situation, the struggling franchise needing a win to square their record - the B’s currently one game back of the Probert division leader.

Polar Bears: 7.0
Wild Ducks: 4.0

Falling for the first time in Week 5, the Wild Ducks, 4-1, hope to return to their winning ways as they travel to New Baltimore to engage the Polar Bears and their 2-3 mark. With both teams residing in the Grimson, the match represents a two game swing in the standings; a fact that rests heavy on the shoulders of the Bears - a team that can ill afford to lose. The stakes aren’t quite as high for the Ducks, though they would like to reclaim the Grimson throne - a throne that was separated from their tucas last week.

Cherry Pickers: 3.0
Ice Hogs: 4.0

A pivotal Probert division clash as the Ice Hogs and Cherry Pickers do battle for the first time in franchise history. The Pickers and Hogs are in identical situations, both teams sporting a record of 2-3; both teams currently nestled one game behind the division leader. Simple math: the winner will emerge with a record of 3-3, and possibly a share of the division lead; the loser will depart the week with a mark of 2-4, and a ticket to the Probert division basement.

Misconducts: 2.6
SC Cobras: 6.3

The Misconducts, 4-1, are the owner of the largest division lead, the Domi-based squad currently two games better than their closest rival. Other than padding their cushion, there isn’t a lot on the line for the Misconducts. The same can’t be said for the SC Cobras, the team saddled with the worst record in the league (tied with the Vipers). If the Cobras fall again, the team will be looking at a 1-5 record. To think you’d have to win four matches in a row just to break even, well, lets just say this is a not-really but kinda-sorta must-win confrontation
