WEEK 16 (thru Thursday) YNYn0gC
Too many points were flowing through GM Miller's team on Thursday, defender Colton Parayko (1g, 2a) and his Between the Pipes squad erupting for a league-best 22.9; the once trailing Pipes now 5.9 points better than their stunned H2H opponent.

Between the Pipes: 56.1
Silicon Valley Slashers: 50.2

The playoff hopes of the Silicon Valley Slashers are in jeopardy; leading by 11.6 points on Wednesday, GM Murphy now finds himself sitting in an unexpected hole. With the outburst, GM Miller didn't abandon his dream of post-season play as a comeback win would keep his Pipes on the outskirts of playoff city.

Misconducts: 63.6
Boulder Flyers: 49.3

Accustomed to falling back into 2nd place after commandeering the lead, the Misconducts actually padded their cushion on Thursday; GM Smalley's squad now 7.3 points better than the 2nd place Ice Hogs. Meanwhile, the Boulder Flyers have crawled back into sorta contention, a firm 15.0 point showing drawing GM Morgan's birds to within 14.3 points of a long shot H2H win.

Ice Hogs: 47.7
Bluliners: 37.2

Still a bit dizzy after getting knocked off their perch on Wednesday, the Ice Hogs stumbled out of Thursday with only 4.3 points. The Bluliners were better, a 7.7 point performance lifting GM Hamilton's on-the-bubble team to within 10.5 points of a once improbable win.

Wild Ducks: 56.4
Badger Bob: 63.5

The Wild Ducks were unable to cut into Badger Bob's lead on Thursday, GM Collard's 9.0 point hand trumped by GM Chester's 10.1. In need of a win to remain a member of the seven team playoffs, the Bobs advantage is now 7.1 points with three days remaining in the long ten day week.

Ice Cats: 72.3
Central Red Army: 65.9

The Ice Cats and Central Red Army continue to exchange blows, the two in-form teams still holding the two best scores of the week. Thursday's action was more of a scuffle than an all-out brawl, the Ice Cats landing 3.9 points; the Army connecting with 6.0.

SC Cobras: 65.2
Polar Bears: 54.0

The SC Cobras and Polar Bears combined for 29.4 points on Thursday, the Bears collecting 15.2; the snakes, 14.2. As a result the Cobras more-or-less maintained their lead, the 9-5-1 franchise now 11.2 points better than the playoff-hopes-are-fading Polar Bears.
