| A lot of damage was inflicted during the brawl between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins - 15 goals resulting in 47.1 FHL points. Justin Schultz (4a) of the Central Red Army and Wild Duck Evgeni Malkin (3g) landed the heaviest blows, both players departing the bout with 9.0 points. Sidney Crosby (1g, 3a) and Conor Sheary (2g, 1a) also caught their opponent square on the chin, the pair collecting 15.0 points for their Polar Bears team.Central Red Army: 21.4 Bluliners: 9.1The Central Red Army were the best Monday team, GM Buker's troops commandeering 4th place in the overall standings - now just 58.1 points behind the first place Ice Hogs. Sitting on the playoff bubble, the Bluliners need a win. After one day the week isn't looking particularly good, GM Hamilton's team trailing the able-bodied Army by 12.3 points. Misconducts: 5.0 Ice Hogs: 5.1The marquee match of the week features the first and second place teams, the Misconducts sporting a league-best record of 11-3; the Ice Hogs 9-4-1. Not many fireworks were launched on Monday, the Ice Hogs and their 5.1 point showing currently 0.1 better than the Misconducts. Polar Bears: 17.0 Between the Pipes: 1.0Week 14 was a "must-win" week for the Polar Bears. After losing, Week 15 is a "not-kidding-really-really-must-win-this-time" week, GM Elya's team currently three games behind the final playoff spot. The team apparently got the message, a fat 17.0 point opener providing the Bears with a 16.0 point lead. Silicon Valley Slashers: 0.0 Wild Ducks: 13.0The Silicon Valley Slashers are another team desperately in need of a win, GM Murphy's squad and their 6-8 record currently sitting one game outside of the playoffs. The team apparently didn't get the message, a nothing Monday dropping GM Murphy into a 13.0 point hole. SC Cobras: 5.6 Badger Bob: 4.1Badger Bob is playoff worthy but they can't afford to relax, their 7-7 record just good enough for post-season play. The SC Cobras playoff chair is a little more comfortable, the 8-5-1 team currently seeded 5th. With a lot on the line, both the Bobs and Cobras strolled out the gate, the snakes leading by 1.5. Boulder Flyers: 0.0 Ice Cats: 8.4His head throbbing - the by-product of his team's "We Have Three Wins" all-night party, GM Morgan was in no condition to look for points. As such, the Boulder Flyers are trailing after one day, the Ice Cats leading by the same number of points they scored on Monday. LINK: Standings |
