WEEK 1 (thru Wednesday) CyVVQIs
Yeah baby! Auston Matthews is the talk of the town one game into the season, the 19-year-old rookie bagging four goals and 14.0 points in his debut, his Ice Hogs team vaulting to the top of the FHL charts.

Ice Hogs: 18.7
Boulder Flyers: 5.0

In addition to the heroics of Auston Matthews, the Ice Hogs received a 37 save win from Cam Talbot, all more than enough to place the Hogs in front of the Boulder Flyers, GM Henry's lead already comfortable with four days remaining in the short week.

Wild Ducks: 16.0
SC Cobras: 15.1

Thanks to Erik Karlsson's 9.0 point game (1g, 2a) the Wild Ducks posted the second best Wednesday score. It wasn't enough to shake the SC Cobras who are nipping at GM Collard's heels, Martin Jones (21 save win), Brent Burns (goal) and Kyle Turris (2 goals) combining for 9.1 of the Cobras 15.1 points.

Ice Cats: 10.0
Bluliners: 8.1

Drafted by GM Cutshall with the 2nd overall pick, Connor McDavid didn't disappoint in his first game as an Ice Cat, the next Great One depositing 7.0 points (2g, 1a) to pace the Cat attack. The Bluliners trail by just 1.9 however, thanks in large part to Craig Anderson and his 34 save win.

Misconducts: 10.0
Central Red Army: 7.0

The Misconducts lead this Domi Division H2H match by 3.0 points. Kevin Shattenkirk did most of the damage for GM Smalley's squad, netting 9.0 points (1g, 2a). The Central Red Army received solid points from Vladimir Tarasenko, his 7.0 point performance (2g, 1a) pacing the Army assault.

Polar Bears: 3.0
Silicon Valley Slashers: 1.5

The defending FHL Cup champion stumbled out of the gate, a 3.0 point effort placing GM Elya's squad 15.7 points back in the overall standings. The slow showing however didn't hurt their H2H chances, the Polar Bears doubling the score of the mostly idle Silicon Valley Slashers.

Between the Pipes: 3.0
Badger Bob: 0.0

Nothing to write home about after Day 1, Jordan Eberle (goal) and Jake Gardiner (assist) being the only players to find the scoresheet in this Grimson Division battle. With plenty of time still left on the Week 1 clock, Between the Pipes lead Badger Bob by 3.0 points.
