The FHL might be in possession of the only basement with a revolving door, the Ice Hogs once again dropped into the cellar; a dank pit that has already housed the likes of the SC Cobras, Boulder Flyers and Wild Ducks.Ice Hogs: 35.8
SC Cobras: 30.3Things were looking up for the Ice Hogs earlier in the week as they found themselves sitting comfortably in 8th place. The tide has turned, again, a not-good-enough Wednesday dumping the Hogs back in the basement. The Cobras meanwhile are now a bit closer to what would be their third H2H win, Corey Crawford's 34 save victory drawing GM Murphy's team to within 5.5.
Between the Pipes: 28.2
Ice Cats: 31.5Between the Pipes could be the next team to take up residence in the FHL cellar, GM Miller's did-nothing team falling to 11th place in the overall standings, just 1.3 better than the last place Ice Hogs. The Ice Cats meanwhile are breathing more comfortably, a Braden Holtby win providing his Cats team with a 3.3 lead over the dangling Pipes.
Polar Bears: 31.0
Bluliners: 32.7The Belle Tire "Match of the week" is living up to it's advance billing, the 4th place Bluliners leading the first place Polar Bears by just 1.7. Overall the Bears remain on top, a 3.0 Wednesday keeping GM Elya's team 7.5 better than the 2nd place Silicon Valley Slashers.
Boulder Flyers: 38.5
Silicon Valley Slashers: 29.6 Rookie Artemi Panarin bagged 4.0 points (1g, 2a) helping his Boulder Flyers team move from last place to 9th place in the overall standings. H2H-wise the Flyers are now 8.9 better than the hard-luck Slashers; the second best team in the league that, inexplicably, could see their record fall to 1-5.
Badger Bob: 29.9
Wild Ducks: 30.1The closest match of the week finds the Wild Ducks leading Badger Bob by 0.2. The Bobs uncorked 3.0 on Wednesday, gaining 1.0 point on GM Collard's Ducks. Overall Badger Bob remains in 5th place, currently seated 23.1 rows behind the Bears. The Wild Ducks are in 10th place, 61.6 back.
Misconducts: 28.9
Redliners: 33.4The Redliners departed Wednesday carrying nothing, GM Megan's team sliding from 6th place to 7th place in the overall standings. Their H2H picture is somewhat brighter as the Reds are currently 4.5 better than the Misconducts, a team that carded just 2.0 points on day five of the seven day week.
