WEEK 24 (thru Saturday)

With only one beat of the 2015-16 heart remaining, the second place Bluliners are trailing the Polar Bears by 14.3 points. While no one is betting on the Bluliners to rally past the Bears, the math says it's possible, both Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry primed for Game 82.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
For the Bluliners to corral their 5th FHL Cup, they'll have to harvest something special, both the still-something-to-play-for Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry dressing on the final day of the season. On Saturday the Bluliners were good - pocketing 10.8 points - but their prime-time defense disappointed; Kris Letang sat while Dustin Byfuglien and Mark Giordano were flat. Once again GM Elya and his Polar Bears were good enough, netting 9.0 points, the deserving GM now just a single day from his first FHL championship  

The Battle for 3rd Place (Overall)
A Jason Spezza hat trick, among other points, has drawn the fast-closing SC Cobras to within 6.1 points of the 3rd place Misconducts; the $130.00 prize just a slither or two in the distance. With only two games contested on the final day, the Cobras still have a shot as the red-hot Wayne Simmonds should play on Sunday. The Misconducts will counter with an an arsenal of their own, Claude Giroux, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Shayne Gostisbehere all penciled-in for the season's final day.

The Battle for 2nd Place (H2H)
Trailing the Polar Bears by 13.3 points - and with only Thomas Greiss and Justin Williams loaded in their Sunday chamber - Badger Bob is forecast to fall in Week 24. If so, the $30.00 second place H2H prize will be divided by three teams; Badger Bob extracting $10.00, the other $20.00 to be divided by the Bluliners and Between the Pipes.
