WEEK 8 (thru Saturday) Empty

WEEK 8 (thru Saturday) WiDuNvr
The Ice Hogs are one day removed from taking control of the Probert division, Andrei Vasilevskiy (36 save win) guiding his team to a 17.2 point performance, the Hogs currently 10.7 points better than the Boulder Flyers with just three games remaining in the week.

Ice Hogs: 45.0
Boulder Flyers: 34.3

Barring a monster performance from (hang on, let me check who’s playing) Andrei Svechnikov, Victor Olofsson and Rasmus Dahlin, the Boulder Flyers will be strapped with a .500 record come Sunday evening, the Hogs advantage arguably insurmountable with so few ticks remaining on the Week 8 clock.

Badger Bob: 54.8
Cherry Pickers: 49.4

The Cherry Pickers posted the best Saturday score, the team’s 19.7 point effort drawing the first year franchise to within 5.4 points of Badger Bob. With only three games on Sunday, the pickings will be slim, but an upset win is still in the cards as the Pick will dress Zack Kassian and Nick Schmaltz. Forwards Ryan Dzingel and Brett Connolly will be asked to protect the Bob’s slim lead.

Vegas Vipers: 48.2
Rocky Rocks: 46.8

The must-win match of the week has been must-watch as a stiff 14.5 point Saturday lifted Rocky Rocks to with 1.4 points of the Vegas Vipers. Despite the positive Day 6, the Rocks chances of defeating the Viper appears slim to none; GM Rocky bringing only Dylan Larkin to the Sunday table while GM Miller will counter with half the Florida Panthers team.

Central Red Army: 41.4
Polar Bears: 34.9

Brayden Point (2g) powered his Polar Bears team to within 6.5 points of the Central Red Army - a number that is by no means safe with Connor McDavid still loaded in the Bears chamber; McDavid one of three Bears players assigned the task of taking down the Army on the final day of the week.

Wild Ducks: 30.0
Misconducts: 36.7

With only Jimmy Howard (maybe) dressing on Sunday, the Wild Ducks are in no position for a memorable come-from-behind win, the 2nd place overall team soon to be handed just their 3rd loss of the season, the Ducks trailing the Misconducts by 6.7 points.

SC Cobras: 39.5
Bluliners: 45.3

The SC Cobras carded 13.0 points on Saturday while the Bluliners were held to just 8.0. Despite the solid performance, the SC Cobras remain on the wrong side of the Week 8 fence, the snakes still trailing the Bluliners by 5.8 points.
