The Polar Bears collected only 3.2 on Wednesday but they gained ground in the overall standings, GM Elya's Cup-hungry team now a mere 0.6 behind the first place Silicon Valley Slashers.

Polar Bears: 24.0
Wild Ducks: 28.7
While the overall picture continues to shine brightly for the Polar Bears, their H2H situation took a turn for the worse, a league-best 9.8 Wednesday placing the 2-5 Wild Ducks 4.7 in front of the 5-2 Bears.

Badger Bob: 26.7
Boulder Flyers: 19.1
New York Islander goaltending - both Greiss and Halak - continues to serve Badger Bob well, a 6.3 outing providing the 4-3 Bobs with a 7.6 lead over the last place Boulder Flyers, the Flyers H2H record still leaning in the wrong direction at 3-4.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 25.4
Redliners: 25.0
The Slashers, 2-5, are clinging to a tiny lead in the overall standings and in their H2H match with GM Megan's Redliners, currently 3-4. With the week now turning toward the homestretch, GM Murphy's advantage is just 0.4.

SC Cobras: 18.2
Ice Cats: 29.2
The Ice Cats, 4-3, generated the only points on Wednesday, GM Cutshall's sqaud now leading the 3-4 SC Cobras by 11.0. With nothing to show for the day, the Cobras took a step back in the overall standings, GM Murphy's team now lodged in 10th place.

Misconducts: 23.9
Ice Hogs: 20.9
There were no fireworks to be found here - not even a sparkler - both teams departing the day with nothing.  As a result the Misconducts, 5-2, continue to lead the 4-3 Ice Hogs, GM Smalley's cushion the same as it was yesterday, 3.0.

Between the Pipes: 23.0
Bluliners: 22.3
The Bluliners, 3-4, netted just 1.0 point on Wednesday but gained a point on their H2H opponent, the Pipes, 4-3, walking away from Wednesday empty-handed. With two days remaining in the week, the Bluliners deficit is just 0.7.
