| Despite having won a combined total of 12 FHL Cups, the Wild Ducks, Ice Hogs and Boulder Flyers are all performing miserably during the first month of the season, the three storied franchises currently in 10th, 11th and 12th place overall.Ice Hogs: 26.8 Bluliners: 38.2With only 1.0 point in their Thursday shopping cart the Ice Hogs, 2-1, were the quietest Thursday team, GM Henry's pigs now leaning on the door that leads to the FHL basement. The Bluliners, 1-2, collected 7.0 points and now lead this H2H bout by 11.4 with one day remaining in the week. Redliners: 48.9 Wild Ducks: 25.5The fat lady is already singing as the Redliners, 1-2, and their league-best score currently lead the Wild Ducks by 23.4. The Reds remain in 6th place but gained ground on the Misconducts, GM Megan's outfit now 27.5 back. With 4.0 points the Wild Ducks kept pace with the top team in the league, their deficit still large at 61.7. Ice Cats: 25.8 Boulder Flyers: 24.4Despite carding the lowest score of the week the Boulder Flyers still have a shot at collecting another $2.00 win, GM Morgan's clipped birds trailing GM Cutshall's napping Cats by just 1.4. That's the only good news leaking out of the Boulder Flyers camp as they remain parked in the FHL basement. Between the Pipes: 38.7 Silicon Valley Slashers: 44.5With 10.8 points, Between the Pipes were the best Thursday team, clawing their way closer to the win-free (no relation to Oprah) Silicon Valley Slashers. With only a six game Friday left to be played, the 1-2 Pipes trail GM Murphy's 0-3 Slashers by 5.8. Polar Bears: 42.3 SC Cobras: 47.9Lots of points to be had in this heated duel, the 8th place SC Cobras netting 8.0 on Thursday; 1.0 point more than was acquired by the 4th place Polar Bears. H2H-wise, the Polar Bears trail the Cats and Misconducts by a single game, their record 2-1. The Cobras are trying to level their record, currently nursing a mark of 1-2. Misconducts: 44.7 Badger Bob: 35.4Only one day stands between the Misconducts and a perfect 4-0 start, a 4.0 point Thursday leaving GM Smalley's first place team with a 9.3 lead. While the H2H outlook isn't necessarily pretty, the Bobs have moved closer to the top spot, GM Chester's franchise now just 18.7 shy of first place. LINK: Standings |
