Polar Bears: 21.2The Polar Bears took off on Friday, eventually landing 5.9 in front of the wide-eyed Slashers. The Slashers unearthed 7.1 on the third day of the ten day week, lead by the sterling play of Henrik Lundqvist who recorded his second win of the young season.

Wild Ducks: 22.4At the draft, the Wild Ducks didn’t place a huge emphasis on goaltending. You wouldn’t guess that based on his team’s performance as another huge day in net served the Ducks well. Jimmy Howard backstopped a 22 save shutout (4.4 points) while Mike Smith deflected 40 of 41 pucks (4.0 points). As a result the seven-time champion now find themselves in first place overall, 0.8 better than the Ice Cats.
Badger Bob: 17.0
Between the Pipes: 10.5Badger Bob departed Friday carrying 5.0 points, John Tavares potting the first of what should be many goals during the 2015-16 campaign. The Pipes had nothing to brag about as they fired blanks and now find themselves 6.5 behind the Bob’s with seven days remaining in the week.
Ice Cats: 21.6
Redliners: 8.5Blake Wheeler (1g,1a) and defender Oliver Ekman-Larsson (1g) paced the Ice Cats attack, GM Cutshall’s team now 13.1 better than the listing Redliners. The Ice Cats however couldn’t retain their position in the overall standings as they slipped into second place, a hair behind the Wild Ducks.

SC Cobras: 14.4The Cobras collected 4.4 on Friday - 4.4 more points than the Misconducts uncovered. Corey Crawford was stellar as he won his first game of the year, blocking 33 of 35 pucks. With the week heading toward the backstretch, GM Murphy’s lead is 0.5.
Boulder Flyers: 9.4
Ice Hogs: 5.4The yawner of Week 1 finds the 10th place Boulder Flyers leading the last place Ice Hogs by 4.0. GM Morgan’s squad had nothing to show for the day while the Ice Hogs, thanks to Corey Schneider’s performance in a losing effort, notched 1.4.
