None of the FHL teams were happy to learn the SC Cobras were the best Friday team, though Badger Bob took it harder than most, the Bobs once leading now trailing, the SC Cobras advantage in this back-and-forth match currently 3.5.

Central Red Army: 26.5
Vegas Vipers: 52.0
Another day, another lead extension for the Vegas Vipers - their 7.0 pointer better than the Central Red Army’s 3.3 pointer - the Vipe skating into an 18-game weekend carrying a Fat Lady-worthy 25.5 point lead.

Bluliners: 20.3
Concussion Junction: 36.3
Last year’s runner-up continues to slide toward the bottom of the FHL barrel, the now in 7th place Bluliners potting just 3.3 on Friday, GM Hamilton’s squad now trailing Concussion Junction by a not-so-sweet 16.0.

Ice Hogs: 25.0
Polar Bears: 18.4­
The Polar Bears Week 9 hiccup is looking more like a full-throated belch (with the possibility of regurgitation) the worst score of the week dropping the team into 9th place overall; 49.5 points behind the front-runner and 6.6 points behind the smirking Hogs

Misconducts: 33.7
Boulder Flyers: 37.3­
Once coasting, the Boulder Flyers now have a fight on their hands, the Misconducts ripping 12.7 points on Friday, GM Smalley’s scampering squad now just 3.6 steps behind the looking-over-their-shoulder, wide-eyed Flyers.

Ice Cats: 37.6
Wild Ducks: 36.3­
A 12-game Saturday will have a lot to say as to who wins this tight affair, the Wild Ducks waddling a bit closer on Friday - outpointing their opponent 5.7 to 2.0 - the Ice Cats slight advantage shaved to an even slighter 1.3.
