WEEK 12 (FINAL) 4ccm
Ice Cat Patrick Sharp was especially sharp on Friday, lifting his team into 5th place with a 13.0 (3g, 1a) effort.

Ice Cats: 67.4WEEK 12 (FINAL) Check
Polar Bears: 48.5
Ice Hogs: 35.6

•The Ice Cats erupted for an FHL record 35.7 on the final day and stormed past the Polar Bears, improving to 3-9 with the impressive Week 12 win. The record setting explosion moved GM Cutshall's team two spots higher in the overall standings. The Ice Cats are now only 72.9 back of the first place Bluliners and 24.5 shy of the third spot ($100).
•The Polar Bears had a relatively quiet closer but more-or-less kept pace with the Bluliners, falling 7.5 behind the front-runner. In the head-to-head-to-head standings, the Bears slipped to 4-8 and now sit 3 games behind GM Hamilton's wide-smiling squad.
•The lethargic Ice Hogs won the "Worst of Week 12" award, posting just 35.6. The damage knocked the Hogs into 6th place overall, dropping the two-time champ 83.3 behind the league leader. In the head-to-head-to-head standings, Henry's Hogs slumped to 4-8; 3 games in rear of the smooth-sailing Bluliners.

Bluliners: 49.1WEEK 12 (FINAL) Check
Boulder Flyers: 40.0
Redliners: 39.4

•It's all good news for the Bluliners as they improved to 7-5 with the relatively easy win. Considering the Bluliners are pitted against two teams each week, GM Hamilton's won/loss record is especially impressive. Also impressive is the Bluliners 657.6 points, providing the three-time champion a 7.5 lead in the race for the elusive FHL Cup.
•The Boulder Flyers limped to the finish line, their 40.0 take on Week 12 dropping them into 7th place overall. A record of 4-8 has placed the Flyers in 3rd place in the head-to-head-to-head standings, 3 games back of a season-ending $25.00 paycheck (a.k.a. first place).
•The Redliners are having a difficult time turning the corner, another so-so week dropping GM Megan's squad deeper in the standings. The current resident of the FHL basement, the Redliners are 1-11 on the year, their lone victory acquired in the very first week of the season.

Wild Ducks: 50.3WEEK 12 (FINAL) Check
Misconducts: 44.2
Dream Team: 43.7

•The surging Wild Ducks improved to 4-8 and are now 16.1 clear of the dreaded FHL cellar. The good news came courtesy of a 50.3 effort, the second best tally of the week. While the future isn't especially rosy, the taped-together Ducks do have something to smile about as the FHL enters the second half of the season.
•The Misconducts, now 6-6, slipped out of the top spot in the head-to-head-to-head standings, the loss placing them one game back of the Bluliners. In the overall standings, the Misconducts remain in a money spot though the Dream Team and now Ice Cats are breathing down their neck..
•The Dream Team took a step back in Week 12, their 43.7 effort dropping them 62.2 behind the Bluliners; their head-to-head-head record now 3-9. Despite the relatively lackluster effort, the future remains bright. The deficit is by no means insurmountable while point-producers Stamkos and Rinne are waiting in the wings.
