WEEK 23 (FINAL) 1e1193a0-9126-11e3-93f9-5fb8de54c3f9_463883673
Declared dead on Thursday, the Ice Cats are alive once again, their chances of finishing in the money buoyed by Max Pacioretty's monster 17 point (3g, 2a) Friday.

Ice Cats: 67.1WEEK 23 (FINAL) Cq96
Ice Hogs: 42.5
Redliners: 27.8

• The Ice Cats exploded for 30.4 on Friday and are suddenly back in the chase for 3rd place and it's $100 prize. With one 9-day week remaining, Cutshall's Cats trail the third place Boulder Flyers by 39.5. It will be an uphill climb but another performance like the last could have the Cats seeing green at the conclusion of the season.
• The Ice Hogs were in-line for the $3.00 win before being bulldozed by the Ice Cats on Friday. As a result Henry's 5th place Hogs fell to 5-18 for the season, a record that has placed the two-time champion in next-to-last place in the H2H2H standings.
• Only 9 more days of torture for the Redliners who saw their H2H2H record plummet to 2-21. In the overall race a Laughing Bag finish is all but assured as last years runner-up trails the 8th place Wild Ducks by 87.7.

Dream Team: 46.5WEEK 23 (FINAL) Cq96
Boulder Flyers: 42.9
Bluliners: 40.4

• The Dream Team's late season surge continues as they won another week, playing the spoiler role perfectly in defeating the two teams that sit atop the H2H2H standings. For the season the Dream Team are 6-17; a record that would provide GM Austin with $18.00 at the conclusion of the season.
• With Matt Duchene, Patrick Elias and Jonathan Bernier all exiting the week with injury, the Boulder Flyers stood little chance of walking away with a win. The disappointing result left the Flyers in a tie with the Bluliners in the H2H2H standings, their record still on the plus side at 12-11.
• The Bluliners also had injury woes and didn't put up much of a fight in Week 23. Despite their troubles GM Hamilton's first place team are still sitting pretty, tied for first place in the H2H2H race and 21.5 better than the Polar Bears in the all-important battle for the FHL Cup.

Polar Bears: 59.0WEEK 23 (FINAL) Cq96
Wild Ducks: 45.2
Misconducts: 36.9

• It was not a banner week for the Polar Bears but GM Elya's second place team did close the gap, gaining 18.6 on the league-leading Bluliners. With one 9-day week remaining in the season, the Bears trail the Bluliners by 21.5.
• The Wild Duck's hugely disappointing 2013-14 campaign will soon draw its last breath - and that makes GM Collard happy, his Wild Duck team falling to 8-15 in the H2H2H race and tumbling 207.4 behind the first place Bluliners.
• The Misconducts continue to spiral out of control, another feeble week dropping GM Smalley 114.5 behind the Bluliners and 105.2 back of 3rd place - the last spot to dole out money at the conclusion of the season.
