Young gun Jason Robertson netted two goals and 4.0 of his team’s 15.0 points - the SC Cobras extending their lead over the muddling Misconducts; the Cinderella Story of the 2021-22 H2H playoffs now sitting on an unexpected 19.6 point lead.

The Misconducts continue to have trouble locating points; GM Smalley left scratching his head after a disappointing 5.0 point performance; the SC Cobras carting a heavy lead to a light two-game Friday.

Consolation Match, Playoffs

Cherry Pickers: 29.9
Lumberjacks: 20.2­
The Lumberjacks weren’t invited to Thursday’s Points Party as the team posted a mere 4.0; the Jacks trailing the Cherry Pickers (12.6) by 9.7 points with 10 days remaining in the match.




Robert Thomas was all business on Thursday as the unheralded 22 year-old collected five assists and 10.0 of his team’s 32.1 points, the 1st place Boulder Flyers now 41.9 points clear of the competition.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
Baba Booey kept pace with the Boulder Flyers (and the FHL Cup) as Jake Guentzel (2g, 2a) powered the team to a 30.2 point showing, the Booeys - though still a hike from 1st place overall - now seated comfortably in 2nd place, 10.0 points better than the Wild Ducks. The Ducks received a monster 46 save shutout (9.2 points) from Alex Nedeljkovic but not much else, the backpedaling team tumbling 51.9 points back.




The Bout for the Money
The Central Red Army’s unrelenting assault on the FHL Bank continued on Thursday as Vladimir Tarasenko ripped three goals, two assists and 15.0 of his team’s 29.0 points; the 5th place Army - a one-time resident of the FHL slums - now just 41.1 points shy of $120.00. The Bluliners received three goals and 9.0 points from Leon Draisaitl, the 4th place squad drawing to within 3.7 points of the 3rd place Ducks.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
The Lumberjacks are now neighbors with the Laughing Bag, a disappointing Thursday dropping the team into 11th place overall; the Jacks however in no real danger of being strapped with the Bag as they lead Rocky Rocks by 67.4.
