WEEK 18 (FINAL) CC7hbZ2
Evgeni Malkin was just okay on Sunday (1g, 1a) but that “okay” proved to be the difference as the Wild Ducks escaped Week 18 with their second consecutive $10.00 Best Week Bonus - the team defeating the Boulder Flyers by 1.6 points - the buoyant Ducks skating into Week 19 with a league-best $30.00 worth of bonus money in their FHL account.

Wild Ducks: 71.2
Lumberjacks: 41.3

Blitzed early, there was no recovering for the Lumberjacks as the wayward team saw their record tumble to 9-9; the Jacks still seated in 2nd place in the Grimson division, though now tied with two other teams. The Wild Ducks postseason hopes improved greatly with the intradivision win, the Ducks, 9-9, now sitting just one match behind the Grimson leader.

Boulder Flyers: 69.6
Bluliners: 52.8

The Boulder Flyers fell just short of the $10.00 bonus but their 8.1 point Sunday still placed a cherry atop their Week 18 win, the best team of the Probert division improving to 11-7. The loss may have been a death blow to the playoff hopes of the Bluliners, the embattled B’s slumping to 8-10; a record that places the team three matches behind the Probert-best Flyers.

Ice Hogs: 45.7
Misconducts: 46.8

The Ice Hogs rallied with 9.0 points on Sunday but fell just short of a much-needed win, the 0-7, 7-0, 0-4 Hogs slurpee-ing their way to record of to 7-11; their postseason hopes taking a significant hit with the loss. The Misconducts remain on top of the Domi division with a league-best record of 11-7, though the Misconducts still have company in the form of the SC Cobras, also 11-7.

Central Red Army: 44.5
Cherry Pickers: 53.2

With the Central Red Army stationed on their doorstep, the Cherry Pickers erupted for 11.0 points - the Pick repelling the advances of their aggressive opponent. With the win, the Pickers improved to 9-9, the team remaining two matches behind the Probert leader. The Central Red Army are now in danger of missing the playoffs, GM Buker’s troops now 7-11; four matches back in the Domi with only four matches remaining in the H2H regular season.

Rocky Rocks: 25.9
SC Cobras: 38.7

Rocky Rocks was good on Sunday (13.4 points) but not good enough, the team now 7-11 after falling hard to the SC Cobras. Seated four matches behind their division leader, the Rocks will likely have to win their final four matches to have any shot at qualifying for the playoffs. The SC Cobras improved to 11-7, the team - tied with the Misconducts for the Domi lead - now with a clear lane heading toward to the seven-team H2H playoffs and it's $190.00 purse.

Polar Bears: 50.2
Baba Booey: 33.4

The Polar Bears kept their postseason hopes alive by toppling the Grimson division leader, the Grimson division Bears improving to 9-9 with the pivotal win; the Bears still very much in the postseason hunt. Baba Booey saw their record fall to 10-8. Though still perched atop the Grimson, the Booeys now have no fewer than three teams banging on their division-leading door - all three challengers just one match back.

WEEK 19
Polar Bears v. Central Red Army
Bluliners v. SC Cobras
Wild Ducks v. Misconducts
Baba Booey v. Rocky Rocks
Boulder Flyers v. Ice Hogs
Cherry Pickers v. Lumberjacks
