| A lot of players were thanking Matthew Tkachuk on Monday as the 24 year-old winger doled out five assists. GM Carling was also thankful as those five assists generated 10.0 points for his 1st place Baba Booey team, the blistering Booeys now leading the race for the coveted FHL Cup by a season-high 25.4 points.Baba Booey: 12.0 Misconducts: 6.0H2H record-wise, this non-divisional battle should be a tense nail biter; the Misconducts, 8-6, traveling to western Canada to play Baba Booey, 9-5. If you look at anything but the H2H records, this non-divisional battle should be a bloody massacre, the 1st place Booeys having scored an average of 50.7 points per week; the 11th place Misconducts, 43.4. First Meeting: Baba Booey, 63.4; Misconducts, 61.4Ice Hogs: 3.0 Wild Ducks: 11.3The Ice Hogs lost their first seven matches. The Hogs then won seven matches in a row. What’s next!? That’s what FHL pundits are contemplating as GM Henry busses his Probert-leading team to Clarkston, Michigan to engage the Wild Ducks. No team needs a win more than the Ducks, GM Collard’s squad, 6-8, currently seated three large games in back of their division leader. First Meeting: Wild Ducks, 54.4; Ice Hogs, 44.2Boulder Flyers: 7.0 SC Cobras: 13.2 A non-divisional pairing of division leaders at the Boulder Flyers jet to sunny California to match hockey wits with the SC Cobras. While the Flyers are currently seated on top of the Probert division, they have absolutely no margin for error as two other teams sport the same 7-7 record. The Domi-best SC Cobras, 8-6, are in a similar position (i.e. no margin for error) as they also have company atop their division. First Meeting: Boulder Flyers, 50.2; SC Cobras, 32.1Lumberjacks: 4.0 Central Red Army: 2.4 The Lumberjacks travel to not-so-sunny New Jersey to engage the Central Red Army. While the last place Jacks look like an easy target, the team continues to win H2H matches; GM Recoskie’s squad, 8-6, just one game behind the 1st place Booeys — and that’s what the Army faces as they load their sticks in preparation for Week 15, the team in dire need of a win as they trail two teams by two games. First Meeting: Lumberjacks, 37.5; Central Red Army, 31.2Cherry Pickers: 3.0 Bluliners: 11.0A huge Probert division battle. If the Bluliners are to have any shot at the division title (and an automatic berth in the seven-team playoffs) they’ll have to defeat the Cherry Pickers. The Bluliners, 5-9, are seated in the Probert basement, a healthy two games behind the Probert-best Pickers; the Pickers beginning play with a mark of 7-7. First Meeting: Bluliners, 67.7; Cherry Pickers, 58.9Polar Bears: 7.1 Rocky Rocks: 8.4The Polar Bears head to the Great White North to take-on Rocky Rocks. The Bears begin play with a record of 7-7; the Rocks, 6-8. While their records are not the same, they sit in the exact same place in their respective divisions; the need-a-win Bears and the need-a-win Rocks both seated two games behind their leaders. First Meeting: Rocky Rocks, 40.8; Polar Bears, 38.4LINK: Standings |
