GM Henry was doing the Happy Dance on Sunday evening - his logic-defying Ice Hogs claiming their seventh consecutive victory; the Hogs, once 0-7 (and with seemingly no chance of qualifying for the playoffs) now, somehow, 7-7, and very much in the hunt for H2H postseason cash.Ice Hogs: 51.4
Central Red Army: 42.1The Ice Hogs’ remarkable H2H season continues as the team now sits atop their division, the Miracle on Ice Hogs tied with the Boulder Flyers and Cherry Pickers for the Probert division lead. In defeat, the playoff hopes of the Central Red Army took a hit; the Army, 6-8, seated two games behind the Domi division leader.
Baba Booey: 75.6
Wild Ducks: 51.6There was no overcoming Baba Booey’s fast start as the Wild Ducks - despite playing well - fell to 6-8 on the season; the Ducks parked a troubling three games behind the Grimson-best Booeys. With the win Baba Booey, 9-5, claimed sole-ownership of the best record in the league. By scoring 75.6 points, the Booeys also lay claim to their league-leading 3rd $10.00 Best Week Bonus.
Cherry Pickers: 68.2
SC Cobras: 49.5
The Cherry Pickers returned to the top of the Probert by thumping the SC Cobras, the Pickers improving to 7-7. A strong week also returned the Pickers to the money, GM Recoskie’s squad now seated in 3rd place overall. Once the sole occupant of the Domi penthouse, the SC Cobras now have company on top of their division, the Cobras skating into Week 15 with a record of 8-6.
Lumberjacks: 69.0
Bluliners: 60.8
The Lumberjacks have FHL pundits scratching their head, the team - in last place overall - improving to a near league-best 8-6 by defeating the Bluliners. The win leaves the Jacks very much in the hunt for the Grimson crown (and an automatic playoff berth) as they trail their division leader by one game. The Bluliners are now the sole owner of the worst record in the league, the Probert-buried B’s slumping to 5-9 for the season.
Misconducts: 62.2
Rocky Rocks: 54.0The H2H record of the Misconducts also defies logic. Despite being cemented in 11th place overall, the squad - after defeating Rocky Rocks - is sporting a mark of 8-6; the confounding Misconducts tied for the Domi division lead. The loss leaves Rocky Rocks with a record of 6-8; the Rocks - despite the loss - remaining two games behind the Domi leaders
Polar Bears: 51.0
Boulder Flyers: 38.8The Polar Bears had no trouble with their hits-like-a-girl opponent, the team improving to 7-7; the Bears bolstering their postseason hopes as they remain two games behind the Grimson division leader. The Boulder Flyers were the worst team of the week, the low-flying birds, 7-7, still seated atop the Probert division, tied with the Pickers and the Hogs.
