WEEK 12 (thru Monday) RET8Gau
GM Murphy inserted Alexandar Georgiev into his lineup on Monday and the 25 year-old goaltender provided instant points; the backup backstop posting a 33 save, 3.3 point win; the SC Cobras drawing first blood in their highly anticipated showdown with the league’s best team.

Baba Booey: 0.0
SC Cobras: 3.3

The marquee match of the week features the SC Cobras - the best of the Domi division - tangling with Baba Booey - the best of the Grimson division. Both teams have a record of 7-4; the best records in the league. Despite their identical stats, the Booeys will begin play as the decided favorite, the 1st place overall team having outscored the Cobras 65.8 to 30.9 in Week 11.
First Meeting: SC Cobras 52.9; Baba Booey 24.1

Ice Hogs: 0.0
Bluliners: 3.0

A huge Probert division clash that could eventually determine who skates in the seven-team H2H playoffs. While the match is important to both the Bluliners and the Ice Hogs, the bulk of the pressure rests on the shoulders of the Hogs, the reformed squad - despite their league-best four-match winning streak - currently seated in the Probert division basement (the Hogs also need a win to square the first H2H tiebreaker).
First Meeting: Bluliners 34.2; Ice Hogs 19.7

Polar Bears: 0.0
Lumberjacks: 0.0

Another huge intradivision pairing as two Grimson rivals - with identical records - match hockey wits in Week 12. On paper this looks like a toss-up as both teams sport identical 6-5 records. That said, this pairing could easily be a lopsided rout; the Polar Bears - in 3rd place overall - having scored almost 100.0 points more than the last place Lumberjacks through the first 11 weeks of the season.
First Meeting: Lumberjacks 46.3; Polar Bears 44.0

Rocky Rocks: 0.0
Wild Ducks: 0.0

A non-divisional match that features two teams in dire need of a win. Both Rocky Rocks, 4-7, and the Wild Ducks, 5-6, are seated in the basement of their respective divisions. A closer look however reveals two important points: Rocky Rocks (in 11th place overall) deserves to be 4-7 while the Wild Ducks (in 6th place overall), some would argue, have been the victim of bad luck. Edge: Wild Ducks.
First Meeting: Rocky Rocks 35.7; Wild Ducks 30.3

Misconducts: 0.0
Cherry Pickers: 2.0

The Cherry Pickers travel to Southeastern Michigan to engage the Misconducts. The Pickers - tied for the Probert division lead - will arrive as the odds-on favorite. In 4th place overall, the Pickers have scored 524.6 points to date, while the Misconducts - in 10th place - have uncovered just 466.6.
First Meeting: Cherry Pickers 49.4; Misconducts 30.1

Central Red Army: 0.0
Boulder Flyers: 0.0

The Boulder Flyers, 6-5, will be trying to hang onto the Probert division lead as they pack their bags for the short jaunt to New Jersey. The Central Red Army will be trying to keep the Domi-best SC Cobras in their sight; the Army, 5-6, currently seated two games behind their division rival. Having lost their first encounter with the Flyers, the Army also need a win to even the first H2H tiebreaker - not important now but possibly very important at season’s end.
First Meeting: Boulder Flyers 23.6; Central Red Army 23.3
