WEEK 9 (FINAL) 0IfKwIr
The Boulder Flyers shoved GM Elya out of the driver’s seat on Sunday, the team - backed by Andre Burakovsky’s first career hat trick - exploding for 15.8 points to claim the exclusive $10.00 Best Week Bonus, the soaring Flyers and their week-best effort drawing to within 0.2 points of 1st place overall.

Boulder Flyers: 78.0
Cherry Pickers: 40.1

A key Probert division pairing saw the Boulder Flyers steamroll the Cherry Pickers, the Flyers, now 5-4, moving into a three-way tie for first place; the Best Week Bonus, their second of the season. The opportunity to pad his team's Probert division lead slipped through the fingers of GM Recoskie, the Pickers falling to 5-4 on the season. Overall standings-wise, Week 9 was not pretty, the former 1st place team tumbling to 7th place.

Polar Bears: 71.3
SC Cobras: 48.5

Leading by 9.1 points ahead of Sunday, GM Elya already had the $10.00 Best Week Bonus spent. Monday morning the Bears boss had to cancel his Amazon order, the Polar Bears having to settle for the second best score of the week. The solid numbers however did serve the Bears well, the 2016 FHL Cup champion rising to the top of the FHL charts. H2H-wise, the Bears, 5-4, moved to within one game of the Grimson lead. The SC Cobras were running away with the Domi division. That’s no longer the case as the lopsided loss and a 5-4 mark leaves GM Murphy grasping a thin one game lead.

Ice Hogs: 43.5
Baba Booey: 40.0

Don’t look now but the Ice Hogs are riding a two-match winning streak, the previously winless squad improving to 2-7 by stunning Baba Booey; the Hogs still in the chase for the Probert division crown (and an automatic spot in the seven-team playoffs) as they trail by just three games. At press time, GM Carling was still trying to wrap his head the unexpected defeat, his Baba Booey team slipping to 6-3 on the season; a record that leaves the backpedaling Booeys with a one game Grimson division lead.

Rocky Rocks: 55.4
Lumberjacks: 37.8

You can’t expect to win when you post the worst score of the week, and that’s where the Lumberjacks find themselves after a paltry 37.8 point effort, the hacking Jacks slipping to 5-4 on the year; the second-year franchise just 0.7 points shy of being dumped into the FHL basement. Rocky Rocks improved play resulted in their 3rd win of the season, the 3-6 squad drawing to within two games of the Domi division leader.

Misconducts: 46.3
Bluliners: 44.2

The Misconducts scored enough points on Sunday to secure their 4th win of the season, the 9th place overall squad defeating the favored 6th place Bluliners by 2.1 points. With the win, GM Smalley and his crew moved to within one game of the Domi-leading SC Cobras. A win would have given the Bluliners sole possession of the Probert division lead. Instead they now have first-place company in the form of the Flyers and Pickers, all three teams sporting a mark of 5-4.

Central Red Army: 49.5
Wild Ducks: 47.7

The Central Red Army only scored 2.0 points on Sunday but it was enough to register a comeback win, GM Buker and his victorious troops improving to 4-5; the team tied with the Misconducts for 2nd place in the suddenly competitive Domi division. The Wild Ducks squandered a chance to move into the Grimson lead, the loss keeping the 3rd place overall team in 2nd place, the Ducks, Bears and Jacks all sitting one game behind the Grimson-best Booeys.

WEEK 10
Cherry Pickers v. Wild Ducks
Baba Booey v. Central Red Army
Ice Hogs v. Polar Bears
Lumberjacks v. SC Cobras
Boulder Flyers v. Misconducts
Bluliners v. Rocky Rocks
