WEEK 3 (thru Tuesday) ALtPXWD
It took two weeks but the SC Cobras finally found their legs, the former last place team exploding for a league-best 27.2 points, netminder Jordan Binnington doing a good share of the work with a strong 42 save, 4.2 point performance.

SC Cobras: 27.2
Ice Hogs: 17.2

The SC Cobras were in position to run away with this match but Max Pacioretty arrived to save the day, the Ice Hogs sniper ripping three goals and 9.0 points; the Hogs still in the mix as they trail the suddenly-caustic Cobras by 10.0.

Baba Booey: 5.7
Boulder Flyers: 7.0

“Hey, where did everybody go?!” were the confused words of GM Morgan when he awoke in the FHL basement. Beyond the Flyers rude awakening, it’s only fitting that the two worst teams in the league have posted the two worst scores, the Flyers and their paltry 7.0 leading Baba Booey and their paltrier 5.7 by 1.3.

Cherry Pickers: 16.8
Rocky Rocks: 15.0

The Cherry Pickers had the better Tuesday hand, defenseman Darnell Nurse (3a, 6pts) trumping the Rocks' David Perron’s two goal, 4.0 point performance; the Pickers outscoring Rocky 14.8 to 14.0 on Day 2 of the seven day week.

Wild Ducks: 19.2
Misconducts: 8.9

John Klingberg (1g, 1a) punched  GM Smalley in the gut, the NHL’s third-best defenseman providing the Wild Ducks with 6.0 of his team’s 19.2 points; the Ducks in full control of this so-far mismatch as they lead the mostly-quiet Misconducts by 10.3.

Central Red Army: 19.0
Polar Bears: 17.0

In danger of being knocked off their lofty FHL perch, the Central Red Army responded with a Nikolaj Ehlers-fueled (1g, 3a) 19.0 point effort. The number however was nearly matched by their opponent, defender Cake Makar (3a, 6pts) keeping it close, the Polar Bears trailing the Army by 2.0.

Bluliners: 12.7
Lumberjacks: 14.0

Mitchell Marner is the highest scoring player in the NHL. “Thank you very much” said GM Recoskie as his team benefited from yet another Marner multipoint game, the Jacks and their 14.0 point Tuesday now leading the Bluliners by 1.3 ahead of a quiet two-game Wednesday.
