PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) MkC3uyV  VS.  PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) JrrcXzG

RECORD: Badger Bob (13-9); Central Red Army (12-10)
AT STAKE: The winner advances to the playoff semifinals - and will remain in the hunt for the H2H championship and it’s $120.00 prize; the loser will be rudely dismissed - and sent home with nothing (not even a pat on the back).
H2H: The two teams locked horns in Weeks 4 and 15. Badger Bob was the hottest team in the league in Week 4, defeating the Central Red Army 68.4 to 49.0. The Bobs weren’t playing as well in Week 15, but they still pummeled the Army - winning in a landslide, 55.0 to 31.1.
OVERVIEW: Being the No. 2 seed is usually a good thing. Not so here as Badger Bob has been paired with the Central Red Army, the 7th seed. No one is playing better than the Central Red Army - the team having won seven consecutive matches. Badger Bob meanwhile is struggling; the Bobs having lost three of their last five matches - posting the league’s worst score in Week 22 (the Army posted the best score). Earlier, it was said that should the Central Red Army qualify for the playoffs, they would be the team no one wants to play. Badger Bob doesn't want to play the Central Red Army, but they are.

PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) FMoxryL VS. PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) P4BZpgd

RECORD: Misconducts (13-9); SC Cobras (12-10)
AT STAKE: There’s no money to be found in this round, but the winning team advances to the playoff semifinals. Once there, three of the four teams will earn a paycheck. So if you like money, then winning this match is not only crucial, it’s essential.
H2H: The Misconducts and SC Cobras played in Weeks 6 and 17. The SC Cobras won them both, narrowly edging their Domi division rival in Week 6, 45.2 to 42.2; then crushing the Misconducts in Week 17, 59.0 to 41.7.
OVERVIEW: This pairing finds two teams skating in opposite directions. The SC Cobras, the 6th seed, are playing exceptionally well, having recently moved as high as 2nd place in the overall standings. The Misconducts - the No. 3 seed and defending H2H champion - are fast-tracking south, the struggling franchise now sequestered in 10th place overall. So who will win? The smart money is on the SC Cobras (actually, all the money is on the SC Cobras).

PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) A4Q9t2u VS. PLAYOFF PREVIEW (Round One) Hdtg6lm

RECORD: Cherry Pickers (12-10); Boulder Flyers (12-10)
AT STAKE: If your childhood dream was to one day win an FHL H2H championship, then you have to win this match - cause if you don’t win this match, you’ll be eliminated from the playoffs and your childhood dreams will be crushed.
H2H: The Cherry Pickers have the Boulder Flyers number, defeating the Flyers in both of their prior meetings. In Week 9, the Pickers prevailed, 56.7 to 52.0. In Week 20, the Pickers kept their then-slim postseason hopes alive by rallying from a 19.9 point deficit, defeating the Flyers 63.3 to 50.7.
OVERVIEW: Very little separates the two teams. Seeded 5th, the Boulder Flyers sit higher in the overall standings. The Cherry Pickers - the No. 4 seed - are playing much better that their current 6th place (overall) standing; the Pickers having won their last three matches. The Boulder Flyers are riding a two-match winning streak. Who will advance to the semifinals? If you have a coin, toss it. This one, on paper, is too close to call.

NOTE: For finishing with the best H2H record, the Ice Hogs received a first round bye. In Round 2 - the semifinal round - the No. 1 seeded Hogs will play the lowest seeded team.

Prize money is awarded to three teams: the H2H champion, the runner-up and the winner of the consolation match.

PRIZE MONEY
1st place: $120.00
2nd place: $50.00
3rd place: $30.00
