WEEK 19 (thru Thursday) 6hifqM2
There was joy in Cobraville on Thursday as the points-needy SC Cobras received two goals, an assist and 7.0 points from Mighty Max Pacioretty - the playoff bubble team netting a league-best 18.0 points in all - the Cobras once again in the hunt for a much-needed H2H win.

SC Cobras: 30.0
Bluliners: 41.0

“PUT DOWN THAT PHONE!” screamed an FHL official as Judy, the FHL intern, was about to place a call to the Fat Lady - the services of the chunky one no longer needed, the surging snakes now trailing by just 11.0 points with three make-or-break days remaining in the week.

Vegas Vipers: 40.8
Rocky Rocks: 23.0

There appears to no stopping the Vegas Vipers in Week 19, the highly-motivated, gotta-win franchise receiving another 7.0 points from Mark Stone (2g, 1a), the voluminous Vipe and their 14.0 point Thursday now leading the points-parched Rocks by 17.8.

Cherry Pickers: 30.6
Badger Bob: 28.7

The Cherry Pickers used a 10.6 point performance (and sub-par play from Badger Bob) to commandeer the lead, the 9-9 but outta-the-playoffs franchise once again thinking “Win,” the previously-trailing Pick now 1.9 points better than the Bobs.

Central Red Army: 33.1
Polar Bears: 14.5

The Polar Bears only carded 4.0 points on Thursday but they were able to gain a point on the reloading Central Red Army, but alas, it was just a point, the ladder-less Bears still seated in a very deep 18.6 point hole.

Wild Ducks: 16.5
Misconducts: 36.4

“That’s gonna leave a mark,” said GM Collard after his Wild Ducks were pummeled 17.6 to 6.5 on Thursday, the Misconducts getting a combined 9.0 points from defenders Niskanen, Carlson and Schmidt to take an unexpected 19.9 point lead.

Ice Hogs: 28.2
Boulder Flyers: 16.0

Close yesterday, this match is close no more, the Ice Hogs extracting 14.1 points from Day 4, Braden Holtby (32 saves) and Andrei Vasilevskiy (29 saves) gently placing the Hogs on a thick 12.2 point cushion.
