| Forbidding goals is what Devan Dubnyk has been doing the past two games, the Central Red Army netminder recording consecutive shutouts, including a 38 save, 7.6 point gem on Thursday. Ice Hogs: 35.6 Central Red Army: 28.0The battle of unbeaten teams was tightened significantly on Thursday, the Central Red Army climbing to within 7.6 of the Ice Hogs after a solid 12.6 point Thursday. The Army also moved north in the overall standings, GM Buker's marching squad now in 6th place, 52.8 points shy of the first place Hogs. Between the Pipes: 3.4 Wild Ducks: 33.8The FHL record for fewest number of points scored in a seven-day week is 11.0 - a record held by two teams; Puckers (1996) and Ice Pirates (1998). Between the Pipes are in danger of breaking that record, GM Miller's congested team collecting only 3.4 points thus far. The Wild Ducks meanwhile are already penciling in a "W," GM Collard's lead a monster 30.4 points. Polar Bears: 22.1 Badger Bob: 36.6Much to the dismay of GM Elya, Badger Bob were the best Thursday team, GM Chester's streaking Bobs uncorking 19.5 points. The eruption has moved Badger Bob into 3rd place in the overall standings, their H2H lead now 14.5. The Bears were smiling just a bit after the ice spray settled, the defending champion no longer in last place. Misconducts: 37.7 Ice Cats: 31.3The 2nd place Misconducts gained a smidgen of ground on the 1st place Ice Hogs, GM Smalley's team now 31.5 points back. The Misconducts however still have a H2H battle on their hands, the Ice Cats keeping pace, now 6.4 points behind what would be their first H2H win of the season. SC Cobras: 20.3 Silicon Valley Slashers: 24.5The Silicon Valley Slashers and SC Cobras exchanged haymakers on Thursday. At the end of the round, both GM's remained standing; the Slashers collecting 10.0 points, the Cobras netting 10.4. As a result, the bout remains close, Silicon Valley's finest leading by 4.2. Bluliners: 20.7 Boulder Flyers: 22.8Both GM's have a lot of fireworks in storage however neither GM can find a match, the winless Boulder Flyers netting just 6.0 points on Thursday; the Bluliners only 6.3. With Week 3 rounding the third turn, the Flyers remain slightly better than the Bluliners, GM Morgan's lead currently 2.1. LINK: Standings |
