The Wild Ducks would soon seize control of the FHL. Trailing by 43.5 points at the break - and seated in 7th place - the Ducks would outpoint the Boulder Flyers by 132.1 points over the next 14 weeks, winning their league record 9th FHL Cup championship by 88.6 points.
The Boulder Flyers would fall just one notch, finishing the season in 2nd place. The Vegas Vipers - in 3rd place at the Christmas break - would claim 3rd place money.
In the green at the break, the 2nd place Misconducts would slide out of the money, the team closing the season in 4th place.
Concussion Junction would find the basement exit. Badger Bob - in 11th place at the break - would lay claim to the Laughing Bag, the then defending champion departing the season 328.2 points in the red.

Concussion Junction’s playoff hopes are still afloat after a remarkable do-or-be-placed-on-life-support victory, the team improving to 5-7; a record that places the Junction four games behind the best of the Domi. Despite the win, the overall picture remains cloudy, the Junction still lodged in the FHL basement, though now only 9.3 points short of ground level. The Boulder Flyers slipped to 8-4 with the difficult to process defeat, the flustered Flyers still the best of the Probert, their lead shaved to a single game. Despite the dip the Flyers still sit on top of the league, their advantage heading into the Christmas break currently 5.6 points.

The Misconducts are the best H2H team in the land after soundly defeating the SC Cobras, GM Smalley’s squad improving to 9-3. With their closest followers losing, the Misconducts upped their Domi division advantage, the H2H Titan now three full games better than their competition. Overall, the Misconducts are nestled in 2nd place; breathing heavily down the neck of the 1st place Flyers. The SC Cobras are searching for answers after falling hard in Week 12, the team’s record now square at 6-6; three games behind the Domi leader. Once sitting on top of the entire league, the snakes will slither into the 3-day break as a 5th place team, the Cobras trailing by 36.9 points.
Vegas Vipers: 54.8
Badger Bob: 39.3
The Vegas Vipers still have a toe in the playoff picture after thumping Badger Bob, the Vipe improving to 4-7-1 on the season - numbers that place GM Miller’s squad 3.5 games behind the Grimson leader. In search of what would be their first league championship, the Vipers are coiled-up in 3rd place, just 17.2 points back. It was a forgettable week for Badger Bob as they failed to eclipse the 40.0 point mark, the team falling to 5-7 on the season - now three games behind the Domi leader. Despite being lodged in 11th place overall - 104.7 points back - the Bobs remain hopeful, GM Chester reminding his team they once trailed by 99.7 points last year before rallying to capture the FHL Cup.

Polar Bears: 51.5
The Wild Ducks won for the 8th time this season - the team padding their Grimson division lead in the process - the Ducks now sitting on a cozy three game cushion. While the Ducks are happy to be leading their division, GM Collard has both eyes focused on the coveted FHL Cup, the 8-time champion frustratingly seated in 7th place, 43.5 points behind the front-runner. The Polar Bears postseason hopes took a hit by losing to their Grimson division rival, the 4-8 team now four long games back. In the quest for their 2nd FHL championship - having scored 50.2 fewer points that the overall leader - the Bears crawl toward Week 13 in 8th place.
Ice Hogs: 65.2
Ice Cats: 52.3The Ice Hogs were the best team of Week 12, the girthy 65.2 number moving GM Henry’s team to within 38.0 points of the league lead; the two-time champion seated in 6th place overall. The “thank you very much’ week also improved the team’s H2H chances, the Hogs now only one game in back of the Probert leader; their once dull record now glowing at 7-5. The Ice Cats remain in the Probert basement after falling to the Hogs, the squad and their 5-7 record remaining three games back. The overall picture isn’t any better, the feral Cats currently sitting on the 9th rung of the FHL ladder, the elusive FHL Cup 66.4 points in the distance.
Bluliners: 56.3
Central Red Army: 47.1The Bluliners snuffed their opponent’s comeback bid on Sunday, GM Hamilton’s squad improving to 5-6-1 with the needed victory - the Bluliners sitting on the playoff bubble with a record of 5-6-1; 2.5 games behind the Probert division leader. In quest for their 5th league title, the Bluliners gained ground in Week 12, the team beginning post-Christmas play in 4th place, 30.7 points back. The Central Red Army stumbled to 5-7 in defeat, the defending H2H champion now four very large games behind the Domi-leading Misconducts. GM Buker’s FHL Cup hopes also took a hit during the week, the Army currently camped in 10th place, now 67.0 points behind what would be their first FHL Cup championship.
